Summary: T’Pol must return the favour to Trip.

“Neuro-pressure has specific postures to deal with this type of problem.” T’Pol calmly informed Trip.

“You don’t seem to recall, Darlin’… but neuro-pressure is what got me into this predicament!” Trip retorted from his position of pain kneeling next to their bunk.

“Whilst I cannot deny that I hold some responsibility for your current situation… I must point out that it was not the neuro-pressure, but what followed that has caused you to experience discomfort.”

“Discomfort!?” Trip exclaimed. “We’re a little beyond discomfort, Darlin’! We’re at the ‘For God’s sake put me out of my misery’ stage!”

T’Pol eyed her husband speculatively.

“Would you prefer I called Doctor Phlox?”

Trip’s face turned introspective as he weighed the pros and cons of calling the gregarious Doctor to such an embarrassing situation.

Trip tried to move up on to the bunk.

And promptly collapsed in pain, his poor back protesting loudly.

“Call the Doc.” Trip groaned in resignation. “But first, help me get some shorts on… might as well try and salvage some of my dignity.”

T’Pol moved to the dresser to retrieve her husband’s sleep trousers.

“T’Pol, answer me one question, what possessed you to want to try out those positions?” Trip asked as T’Pol easily lifted Trip onto the bed.

“I overheard Ensign Sato whispering their descriptions to Lieutenant Reed whilst we were waiting for the doctor at this morning’s briefing.”

Trip groaned.

“Haven’t you learned yet that Hoshi is a bad person to take advice and ideas from regarding sex?”

“That would be two questions, husband,” T’Pol responded curtly.

“At least we know why Malcolm looked like a tomato.” Trip chuckled.

“Indeed.”
