"Guess Who" Drabble Challenge

"Fallen Hero" is the episode with the discussion between Archer, Trip, and T'Pol where they use the euphemism "tension relief" to describe sexual relations among the crew, so that could pertain to the frat rules, but I don't see what it has to do with your drabble. I couldn't find any reference to Rostov or star watching in any of the five first season episodes immediately before and after Vox Sola. I've just spent nearly an hour of precious writing time trying to find a needle in a haystack and I'm frustrated. You can either give us the answer and let someone else who's got a drabble ready go next or wait for someone else to figure it out, but I give up. Sorry.

Okay I'm going to put an end to the madness. It's the episode where they have the 4th graders ask questions. A little girl asks if "dating is allowed on Enterprise" Says it would be hard for to people to get privacy to "look at the stars." Okay nobody won, duke it out amongst yourselves as to who goes next!

He is a strong man, but not brutish with it. He has a capacity to command, to take charge, yet he was also gentle and uncertain. He has the power to soar into the scattered powder of the stars, and yet he must dissemble for one kiss. I had never honestly hoped to find a man with a quick and inquisitive wit who would value me as an equal. Who would think that such a one could descend from the sky? Yet I, sitting here among my tinctures and simples, my paper and wax, have no power to hold him.

Oh ek that was gorgeous! Beautiful, breath taking, outstanding! Heck even I could see how the person in question is appealing. And considering it's me that quite unheard of. I know excatly what it is but I'm not saying because I've done more than my fair shair of work. Hoever know that in 100 words you made me believe what I didn't believe in that episode. Jeeze If it was like that on TV I would have liked that pairing very much!

Sorry to admit, WarpGirl, that I was not going to guess that in a million years. It's just too clever for me. But it was nicely done and showed your great eye for detail. Who else would have remembered those little details and thought to bring them together so elegantly?

That is a thing of beauty, disguised as a drabble. Wonderfully done, enterprikayak. I especially like "my tinctures and simples, my paper and wax" because they immediately bring to mind the cluttered chaos of the apothecary and at once I'm right there.

I wish I could spare time to be more involved this week but I'm with sixteen hour days at least until the weekend - there simply isn't enough time.

But just to keep EK happy, I'd say it was the one where the pre-industrial culture was being poisoned by a hidden generator operated by some bad aliens. I think that Archer and the apothecary were quite taken with each other. I'm afraid I couldn't remember the episode and had to 'research' it. That's what we call cheating these days, isn't it? The episode was Civilisation. What was the girls name?

You know how it is when you've got a boring or unpleasant job to do, suddenly anything else looks better? So I wrote a drabble!

This one was left over from one of my earlier ones - you can probably guess which one!

Because it's so easy, you'll have to name both people speaking, and the episode.

Yes it did too happen in that episode, if you didn't see it you can't have been paying attention.

“Aha, sneak up behind me, would you?

“Take That! … takatakataka … kaboom!”

“Ensign, ...”

“Woosh! Yeooow … takatakataka …takatakataka ... kaboom!”

“Ensign!”

“Oh no, here comes another one, 'beware the hun in the sun!' …

“Whoosh! Takatakataka … takatakataka … takata ..KABOOM!”

“ENSIGN!!!

“Need I remind you? Firstly that we are NOT under attack. Secondly that this shuttle pod is equipped with neither 'fifty cal machine guns' nor 'cannons'. Thirdly that the commander has just had lunch?

“Kindly cease these manoeuvres at once and resume your original flight plan!”
