But Warpgirl according to Spock Pon Farr was the mating time when you were called home to whomever you were going to be bonded to for life so while I know a lot of Fic did the they had to mate or die but didn't bond thing with Vulcans in actuality how would that work with a sex-crazed out of control Vulcan being driven to mate/bond? The only way to prevent the bonding was to fight to the death or to meditate which had a low rate of success. The substitute mate thing I see as a made up thing as it was never shown in canon so what Vulcans did if they couldn't get home is an open questions that I have never seen a satisfactory solution to. The Vulcans shown who couldn't get home were going to mate/bond with whomever was available and accordingly would have been bonded to that person.
A thought just struck me that the writers screwed up with T'Pol's Pon Farr episode because had she still been betrothed to Koss wouldn't she have been driven to return to Vulcan to mate with Koss as Spock was with his betrothed? That never happened so either her thinking was correct and her betrothal had been broken or it's another case of the writers not paying enough attention to the details of what they're doing.

Yeah I know. But didn't it explain in another TOS episode or maybe TNG that if a Vulcan can't get home a replacement is possible? I'm sure I remember it from somewhere. Maybe VOY, because Vorik was betrothed and sought out Torres. And the doc gave Tuvok several options as well. So it's not physically impossible, just contrary to instinct. And if the Plak Tow gets far enough along, then A Vulcan male will mate with anyone who CONSENTS! They really don't rape, I've NEVER EVER heard of one instance of rape.
As for T'Pol I still stand by the canon explanation that a Vulcan male linked to his mate imparts the Plak Tow to her. Women don't go into Pon Farr on their own. ENT screwed it up and got it wrong. Not many people agree but that's cool.

You are right, but I don't think Enterprise wanted really to say that Women go into Pon Farr on their own, or - at least - it wasn't said clearly. It was a Virus, if I remember well. For me, that doesn't mean in a pellucid way that Vulcan women have their own Pon Farr.

Well, technically speaking, T'Pol did a "one nigh stand" with Trip in "Harbinger." She does it and doesn't seem that it goes against her physiology or beliefs much. So we must assume that:
a) She is GALACTICALLY STUPID (which could be completely possible, you know.)
Or
b) Vulcans, or more specifically, Vulcan females can have casual sex.
As the writers wrote Vulcans, anything is valid.

I skipped Bounty but I thought it was the Suliban's drugs thatthey used to torture her. Which didn't make sense to me because the effects should have started so much sooner. I mean I just did the needle in the head thing, and I felt something really quick, just not what they were hoping.

Sorry Asso but that is an opinion I am allowed to state. And it hasn't hurt anyone. Sincere sex can be stupid. Just last night a 14 year old girl propositioned a 11 year old boy in my neighborhood.
