Great, you have created a wonderful and fearsome army of Half-Elvens (Half-Elvens, Elvens are in other place :D ) Great, just great. And now how am I supposed to defeat them? How am I going to make possible for them to lose miserably and to be killed in mass in chapter 15?

I used diamonds for other story I wrote, so I didn't want to repeat myself, that's all :)

The same way the Spaniards killed the Aztecs, I guess. Metal swords and armor just work better than leather and obsidian. Kinda sad to kill 'em off, though. I was starting to like 'em.

The Conquistadores didn't win by using superior weapons, they won by using superior tactics, superior strategy, and sneaky political manipulations. The Aztecs had the Spainards outnumbered so badly that their weapons just weren't that much better. The Spainards won by organizing an uprising among the Aztec's subject tribes, then taking over the resulting political chaos after the empire fell.

There was a strange situation, there.
Several strange beliefs, which played into the hands of Conquistadores.
Well yes. I continue to write. And on Fanfiction.Net, for those who want, it is possible to cast a glance at my latest efforts. We arrived to
The Ears of the Elves, chapter Forty-four

And here is the beginning of the whole story.

But, I must say, you could also find something else on Fanfiction.net written by me. If you want.

And Diego de Landa burned Mayan codices, effectively wiping out the cultural history of a civilization. Rates right up there with the destruction of the Library of Alexandria and the murder of its last librarian, Hypatia.
Working on a major fan fic project. Two-thirds done. Hope to put it up in the not TOO distant future.

Oh, so very true. La Malinche is a proof of that. She's the icon for treason in Mexico. They call her "La Chingada", which is a very rude word.

Yeah, me too. Poor, poor victims of a very wicked person. Fortunately I don't spoil anything saying they're going to die, because I tell the end of the story in chapter 3 :D (of course, I don't tell why it happens, only what happens )

That's true, yes! Because Diego de Landa wasn't a jesuit (you don't see a jesuit doing that.)

By the way, Alejandro Amenabar is shooting a film about Hypatia with Rachel Weisz.

No problem. Use the usual technique of poor/corrupt/evil political leadership add individual and cultural flaws. Presto a technologicaly superior force defeated by an inferior one. Add in some incompetant military leaders, perhaps a disenchanted/misinformed populace that does not support the war and there you go.

Remember when I said the intellect is the most powerful tool? Well that only goes so far when dealing with politics and mass public opinion. If you have a population that has limited access to unbiased information and been carefully fed propoganda they will believe and do most anything you want. You may note the importance of political will of various factions around the world today.

As the author you can manipulate everything and everyone to any extent you wish to achieve what ever you wish. Just try to allow the reader to "buy in" to the world you create.

Well, yes, that's the funny part of writing  Fortunately I have the political atmosphere done. It has nothing to do with poor political/leadership for the Half-Elvens (or not entirely), but it does with their slowness for changes and the communication problems that exist between each Half-Elfate (this sounds incredibly better in Spanish :? )

Anyway, changing a little from war to writing, which writting style seems more complicated or better looking? (yeah, I know they aren't beautiful like quenya letter; calligraphy isn't my forte either 8) ) Each pic has the same word written in the three different styles.

I like style A. I prefer my text all on the same line, and C seems bunched together.

Haven't we just finished pointing out that superior weapons aren't the key? You don't need uranium. You need to be sneaky.

Besides, it's plutonium, not uranium. Uranium was for the old bombs. They are passe. They only blew up cities. the new bombs blow up entire nations.
