Mmmmmm... Cajun...

The gumbo also sounds good ;)

We're sushi freaks too, but ever since EK swore-off all "food with a face", her sushi experience has been much more basic

Too bad the Cajun food in Texas sucks mivonks. Maybe barbeque?

Oh yeah, that's right. Cows have faces.

Hmmm.

Barbeque beans with tater salad and coleslaw? Or maybe bean burritos with guacamole? That's probably the closest thing to vegetarian you'll find in authentic Tex-Mex cuisine, I'm afraid.

Please, do you want - all of you - to cease to speak of all these kinds of foods? :bitch:
I'm lightly gourmand.
And also envious. :|
Well yes. I continue to write. And on Fanfiction.Net, for those who want, it is possible to cast a glance at my latest efforts. We arrived to
The Ears of the Elves, chapter Forty-four

And here is the beginning of the whole story.

But, I must say, you could also find something else on Fanfiction.net written by me. If you want.

I'm pretty sure I picked up "sucks mivonks" from you, T'Poptarts. It's from Farscape, actually. And it's cruder than usual for me, but since virtually no one knows what it means, I guess my southern gentility is safe.

That's hilarious.

:D

So I'm off the board for a couple of days and I find my better half wangling all our dinner plans for us. :) Is there any kind of consensus yet (I couldn't tell for sure)? I'm up for nearly anything, but I'd like it to be something relatively interesting and good cause we're on a raaaaaare trip out. The hotel restaurant is probably fine, if anyone else likes that idea?

Where's everyone staying?

My T shirt is ready !

I gotta go get it!!

I think the consensus was Jacob's at the hotel, but there really isn't much of "everyone", I'm afraid. I think it's just you and your hubby, me and mine, and Elessar (poor little unattached single boy) going from TriS, and all of us are at the Hyatt.

Poor Elessar's the odd man out. I'd bring my daughter to even things out, but...
1. She wouldn't be caught dead at a Star Trek convention :raspberry:
2. She just did something to her hair that makes her look like a skunk... only with an orange stripe instead of a white one :?, and
3. She's 15 but looks twenty, and Elessar being Elessar... well... 'nuf said.

So...eK, when will ya'll be getting into Dallas, anyway?

da hotel. I'm in da hizzuz. 8)

Btw. Star Trek Theatre is going to interrupt this advertisement to blow your MIND.

Think they got floral/hawaiian shirts at Goodwill? Sounds like somethin they'd have at goodwill.

Btw... D are you getting there Thursday too??

I wasn't planning on arriving until Friday around noonish. I have to go down to Rolla tomorrow to take a test (a TEST! SERIOUSLY! I HAVE MY DIPLOMA! BUT THEY WON'T RELEASE MY TRANSCRIPTS OR GIVE ME A PROOF OF DEGREE! AHH!!) and then I was gonna leave early Friday morning.

Will I miss anything if I do that? I can always leave after my date Thursday night. That's right, I said after my date 8)

Goodwill sounds good. Or maybe Target. 8)

Hubby and I weren't planning to get there 'til 4 or 5 on Friday, since the first thing I want to go to is the Early Bird Party at 7:30. So I guess we'll be the last ones to get there. If all y'all find each other, Elessar has my cell number. If not, we could just plan to meet in the lobby at 5 to go to dinner. The TriS t-shirts oughtta be a dead giveaway even if we don't remember what everyone looks like.

OOOh! Isn't all this exciting! I can't believe I have to go back to work after lunch today. :(

Oh, well. Tomorrow will be here before we know it. Did one of you guys bring a laptop to post a travelogue for the rest of the gang? I'll have mine.
