You could take pieces of newspaper roll them up and put the pieces between their toes when their sleeping and light them up

Agreed! Some people may think I have to turn in my "man card" or something, but I have never been able to get interested in sports. It's something of a social handicap actually, since whenever you meet new people or engage in small talk, most people assume that the other person (you) do know and is interested in sports. I just can't bother with it... :?

I'm 4 days behind here and the oddball out again apparently. I actually am a baseball fanatic. It was something that my brothers were doing while I was growing up and I wanted to spend time with them, so there you have it. It just stuck. Not only that, but being introverted and all, I enjoy watching people. I like getting to know all of their little quirks and whatnot. And I like when someone hits a game winning homerun and they all jump happily all over one another. Comraderie and all of that sappy stuff, you know. Go figure. :?

Whine: Going into total panic mode. Between a major nervous breakdown at work yesterday(a combination of manufacturing/project delays, my CAD program randomly shutting down 100+ times in a day so that it took eight hours to design something that usually takes twenty minutes, a jerk of a coworker who decided that they were going to replace the elliptical in our gym while I was using it so he kicked me off and I got to watch as nothing happened for a good half hour, and last minute business travel plans that totally threw everything off), getting news today that I won't know how long I'll actually be away (to the point that my boss said that, if necessary, the company will cover clothes or laundering costs... argh!), and being too darn lazy to pack tonight even though I have to, I feel like I'm going nuts.

Nothing like having your vacation sandwiched between work travel.

It'll be okay tommorrow, but today my boss had to talk me down a little bit "You know that it's just a part of R&D-- some projects work perfectly and others have delays. You're just gaining experience in the second."

And I'm going to go broke in buying up my travel necessities, like lots of little travel shampoos (so that I can throw them out as they finish and have less to lug on each leg of the trip), moist face towelettes (easier to carry than makeup remover + face cleaner), TSA approved luggage locks (because I have to check my bag-- medical instruments won't go over too well in carry-ons), and books.

*sigh* /end whine
