I booked my rooms!

But b/c I'm driving and poor, I only booked Friday and Saturday, not Thursday or Sunday night, so I'll drive up early Friday (btw, I couldn't find a schedule ANYWHERE, Dis or Ek, when are the earliest events on Friday??), and then drive back Sunday night.

By the way, I'm going to bring my rifles to try and find a place to go shooting with my friend Corey who might come up from Houston. Any/all of you are welcome to come with if you like, but I'm not sure when that will be. We might all be too busy hitting up convention events, who knows :)

And, and the specialty. I plan to bring an extra PC, my 5.1 surround sound system and my 22" LCD monitor and a ton of Star Trek for...

Elessar's 2nd Annual Star Trek Convention Star Trek Theatre!

It was a huge hit in New Jersey. Just ask JT, y2kelly, Bether or Emberchyld. And this will be much better picture and sound :)

The funnest part of that is to see Elessar hit pause and go DID YOU SEE THAT?

See what?

Then he points out some detail no one ever noticed before. For instance in (I think it was Bound) Ensign Massaro is referred to as a "she." There is a detail in "Harbinger" which I am dying to give out. It is a pretty big, important detail that hasn't been incorporated into any of the Harbinger fanfic I have read. Elessar you were going to do something with that and never did. :poke:

Hey, now you have to dish!

I don't think I've technically written a Harbinger fanfic yet. Past-tense references don't count.

My kid noticed the Masaro thing. We wondered if she had a sex change or what. I was wondering if she was also supposed to be Japanese before she turned into a white guy because only white guys can do evil things on TV (and it would be a bit too stereotypical to have a Japanese person committing suicide). Though I suppose it might have been Massaro, which is Italian. The guy didn't look Italian either.

I am SO procrastinating the garden this morning. Somebody poke at me to get the damn peppers and eggplant planted already. It' s June, we ought to finally be frost-free.

I was about to say, I'll bet it will be in Alelou's Harbinger story. All your stories are based on a close reading of the show. :D

Here is the program thus far (subject to hourly change of course):

By the by, FedCon is just the first leg of our week-long American adventure, and I'm in charge of the next stop. So... my question to all in the country: where in the States would you go if you had about three nights to kill? I'm thinking of going back to Sanfransico, or seeing Sandiego for the first time... Any thoughts?

Great idea JT! I'll be finding us a stand-by while we're Coning in DFW: we'll only be making one stop one our way back to BC, but I am considering renting a car for a couple of days wherever we end up :)

In which case you would fly into Pheonix and drive an hour north to Sedona, stay, and drive and another hour or so north to the Grand Canyon!!

In Sedona, see SLIDE ROCK!!!! OH shoot, I just remembered enterprikayak is pregnant. I guess she doesn't want to be riding down a natural water slide, but you never know. :?

And since you're in Texas anyway, I wouldn't rule out San Antonio. It's a charming little city with the river walk and the surprisingly petite little Alamo, etc. Also a great place to hear jazz and R&B and eat barbecued ribs and Tex-Mex.

Though I do understand the desire to return to SF. What a fabulous city.

But you should follow up on jT. I have yet to see the Grand Canyon myself and that is a regret.

jT, please don't make me watch Harbinger over the 200th time because I'm really tired of Mean!Archer and that fricking transdimensional alien clutter up my TnT time. What are you referring to? PM me if you have to!

First, I right clicked on the image and saved it to my photos. Then I went on photobucket.com and uploaded it. Then I reversed it with the edit function. Then I copied that version to my photo print program and printed it, first on regular paper to see how it would come out, and then on iron on transfer paper I got at the craft store. Then I washed and dried the shirt I was gonna use, cut out the image, and ironed it on, following the (obviously) idiot-proof directions on the package of transfer paper. Total project cost: about 7 bucks. (5 bucks for the shirt at Academy sporting goods and about 2 bucks for the transfer paper.) Ta daaaa! :happyjump:

And yes, T'Poptarts, my bedroom carpet is pale pink. I like pink. 8)

puleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeezee? :D

Sigh. 8)

What size T-shirt do you wear? And which logo, the main page or BB? Do you want it on a dark shirt, because the transfer paper for that is different, too.

The Hoover Dam if you're into man-made objects, the Grand Canyon if you're into natural phenomena. The Hoover Dam is an amazing sight, though.

I was raised in Arizona and the Mogollon Rim is beautiful and we used to go camping up there.

BTW, if it were me, I'd go to San Francisco - 1. because I have a friend who lives there, 2. because I have recently new-found desire to see what are the Starfleet Command and Academy grounds, and 3. Because it would be FANTASTIC research for YMAM 3 :)

I think Massaro is Italian.
It sounds good.
And, regarding his aspect, I believe that a lot of time has passed since his family was TOTALLY Italian.
Anyway, this name is very suitable for secret plans.
May the Mafia have something to do with Terra Prime? (Please, no offence made. I'm joking, and consider I'm Italian! )
In any case, I judge him as a lacklustre character.
I prefer a "Catilina", rather than a lousy and caitiff and craven mouse. :-x
Well yes. I continue to write. And on Fanfiction.Net, for those who want, it is possible to cast a glance at my latest efforts. We arrived to
The Ears of the Elves, chapter Forty-four

And here is the beginning of the whole story.

But, I must say, you could also find something else on Fanfiction.net written by me. If you want.

Hoover Dam sounds really cool to me though... I just love man-made-marvels :) Must be my inner-machinist...

^^^You're welcome, dear. I'll do my best. Anybody else who's going to the con want a matching T-shirt, since the transfer paper comes in packs of 7 sheets? Place your orders now. I need which logo you want, your T-shirt size and color, and whether you want the logo on the back or the front. The craft store has 5 dollar T-shirts and I'm going tomorrow. I'll bring 'em with me to the con, since I really don't wanna mess with having to mail them. 8)
