Chekov isn't in the TOS one either. I didn't make them either, I had a friend of mine do them. Currently I'm more concerned about the ENT banner and I'm hoping that he or someone else good at photoshop can help me fix it here soon.

OK. STOP letting your friend do the graphics. He/she needs to be spanked.

And for buttons: Never use images when you have a friend (ME) who can write the same thing in CSS (so your readers don't have to load more images than they have to, and it will look almost the same, except better quality and less graininess)

For the banners, I was thinking I could make you a graphic interface where each series cast would appear in the middle of the guardian of forever when you hover the mouse over the series title. And just to be funny, we could add that weird TOS background music (even though I vowed never to embed sound files in webpages, I think with the sites theme you might be able to get away with it...)

That's the first thing everyone thinks of when they see that T'Pol picture on the ENT banner? Paranoid much. All I was thinking was, aw crap, a Season 1 shot? Her Season 3 look is so much more agreeable, IMHO. You already have Phlox against a different bg, so it would be an easy thing to break ranks and go for a Season 3 PR still of T'Pol.

And as long as you're having someone re-do the banner, consider taking pity on Travis and using a shot that includes his entire pretty head.

Even if I actually had photoshop I wouldn't have the skill to use it. I asked someone here to maybe help me out, but I haven't heard back from them yet so I'm assuming the answer is probably "no" since I kinda asked them out of the blue.

I think the banners are far enough down that no one would be able to see the GoF banner when they did that. Plus you're talking to a guy who really doesn't have much skill in graphics - those buttons and the Original Works banner are pretty representative of all I can do with Illustrator and what little knowledge I have of how to use it.

No, as someone who likes to listen to music on my computer while I browse, background music on a website is my #1 annoyance.

Looking for feedback on the buttons now. The buttons themselves can't be much bigger, as the table they're in is already 900 pixels wide, which is about 100 more than the average website, which is actually the same size as the banner at the top of each page. Anyway, this restricts me to a width of 120 pixels on each button unless I want them to actually touch each other. So below are 5 buttons options, all for TNG, because written out that's the longest title.
