You all may have played a variation of this game before. You're faced with two pretty nasty choices; you pick the one you think is worst, and then offer up two more choices for the next person to pick from.

Just for giggles we can keep this Trek-themed to begin with, but if we start running out of ideas, then we can start using general choices.

I'll start:

Salty plomeek broth, or finding a scabby bandaid in your gagh?

I doubt salty plomeek broth constitutes a health hazard, so I'll say the scabby band-aid is worse. MUCH worse.


Phlox curing your ailment with Regulan bloodworms or by creating a mimetic simbiot?

There are so many strange things in medicine that I'm not scared of Regulan bloodworms. Instead I wouldn't be glad if a mimetic simbiot would reveal some of my personal thoughts.

Going alone for an away mission or looking together with Archer at an endless water polo game?

I don't know if these would be really horrible choises if you think about it. At least if you are a woman.
Looking at atheletic men in swiming trunks. Or spending some time alone when you are coopped up in a ship with so many people so many months.

But as an introvert and a bit claustrophobic person I'd pobably choose that the endless water polo game would be worse as I would have to share it with Archer.

I think it's better freeze's torpor than heat's dehydration.

Having one only bad book to read, or having one bad movie to look at?

Interrupting to remark that the only thing I really like about A Night in Sickbay is the deleted scene with Trip and Archer. 1) We get to see Trip in his undies, 2) We get to see Trip trying, sleepily, to 'manage' his boss, and 3) When Archer asks him how long it's been, Trip responds with a wonderfully nonplussed, "Sir?"
Okay, back to your regularly scheduled programming.

I had to go look up Antaak. Don't these people know that all Klingons are supposed to have names that sound like Klang or Koloth?

Definitely Phlox. He doesn't worry me. The degree of privacy available in that sickbay might worry me, though. Couldn't they have given the guy an office with walls???
