Thanks, but since I do make some attempt to keep it on the DL, that's understandable.

Oh no! The big 5-0. That makes me even lamer. If it makes you feel any better, I also regularly manage to forget my husband's birthday, my twins' birthday (which is also a major Holiday, lol), and my own birthday. Oh well, looks like you were well taken care of. I'm guessing that pic was taken at your birthday dinner? You do look great, and happy!

Here is something to cheer you up: Whenever I chat with certain people, they ask if I have any missing scenes in the que. Happened yesterday. Thanks for bringing our favorite characters to life with fresh stories. :thumbsup:

Thanks, all. Actually that dinner was at Epcot (Disney is REALLY big on celebrating your birthday, even if it is still 8 days off -- I got serenaded in Japanese at their Japanese restaurant).

For my real birthday I requested an overnight up to Lake Placid/Saranac/Tupper Lake in the Adirondacks, all places I had never been. I also had a root beer float on the way home to celebrate. :)

This birthday has been all about nice early and late surprises, actually. I hadn't gone to Facebook or my old email account in weeks and weeks and I'm currently crossing things like that off my list of things to do -- lo and behold, I had birthday emails waiting for me there. That was nice.

I did a travel piece on Saranac Lake once - it's absolutely pristine and gorgeous. Really wonderful! You will enjoy.
