I can't speak for the tech guys, but I think one of the reasons they avoid uploading images is that it can really slow down loading on a site. Not sure if this is still a problem today with most people on broadband, but it would be for anyone with a slow connection.

You need to have space to STORE the images plus pay for the bandwidth of downloading them. And once they're available on your website you have the problem of people linking directly to the photos from other message boards or web pages at which point the hosting site pays for the bandwidth and storage and other people are freeloaders. Photobucket has a business model that somehow makes this work but TriS does not.

Okay, I get it. So no direct uploading photos to Tris for a couple of reasons. Distracted has offered to interface with me to photobucket. Thanks! But maybe I will give it one more try myself. And just to aggrivate me more, when I go to Firefox, I find I must now open a membership in Google to get on it and all my bookmarks are gone. So WTF is up with that? Honestly, it makes me want to let loose my two rabbits and my parrot to chew through all the electrical cords in the house. :banghead:

Cry 'Havoc', and let slip the bunnies of war!

The Parrot of War is more destructive than the Bunnies of War...there is absolutely no place the winged one cannot reach. He is the original Bird of Prey - the Klingons even copied his green color.

My brain seems to hit a 'divide by zero' when I look at "House of the Bulgarian Communist Party". Is that the ceiling? Where's the floor?

I loved Carl Sagan's Cosmos growing up, and now they're making a new one:

I stumbled upon a great TnT story that I would like to share:

Give the writer some love, people!

(I hope it's okay to post this story from another site, if not, let me know.)

Speaking of Random.....

Nephew is pitching tonight Cubs vs. San Fran. For once we get the game on the TV at home. He was called up last week and did ok in his start. No real nerves here, but I am a bit thirsty...

Also its barely 60 degrees here for the annual mid-summer fall is coming reminder.

Lastly I cant remember (Transwarp??) who was trying to make a list of necessary episodes for his misses but I did some additional reflection and offer a much shrunken list.

Enterprise Must List

Broken Bow
Breaking the Ice
Stigma
Cogenitor
The Expanse
The Forgotten
Home
Bound
Demons/Terra Prime

From TOS

Amok Time
Balance of Terror
The Trouble with Tribbles (just because)

Whew, that was a late night, da kid pitched well. 7 shutout innings. Cubs won 1-0 after a wild 8th and 9th....
