Apprently SCYFY channel did drop Enterprise. No episodes shown in the past two months. Funny as Enterprise was bringing in advertising revenue. It was drawing in some of the larger firms with bigger advertising budgets. Like Burger King, Some insurance companies, etc. No more Male enhancement ads which would not bring in that much revenue.

So, if you don't have it on DVD you are out of luck. I have season three and four.

Got my complete set of Star Wars Blu-Ray disks the other day. Say what you like about Lucas, he sure puts together a slick package. All the disks came in a little book like container - not one of those plastic fold out packs that always seem to break about the third time you take the disc out, but more like cardboard pages that the disks slip out of. The menus are gorgeous. We haven't had time to actually watch a movie but maybe this weekend.

I'm almost looking forward to seeing "The Phantom Menace"!

Anne McCaffrey Has Died

She was a lovely lady. I met her twice, once as a teenager when she signed my omnibus copy of Dragonriders of Pern (which I still have), and once in 2008 at Dragoncon. She was there in a wheelchair with her son at a panel, still as mentally sharp as ever. She got cold and I lent her my sweater.

RIP, Sweet Anne. You will be missed.
