Oh well, you can watch the episodes at the website. Was the episode "Up in Flames?" Or do you have to wait a week for the episodes to go up?

The good news is that my latest "attack" of alopecia seems to have subsided and my hair is already beginning to grow back, except for one big spot on the back/top of my head.. The bad news is that I had to cut my hair to about 2 inches long all over to allow it to even out. I dont' like it. It's sooooooo short. Under normal circumstances I would never even consider cutting it this short. I still have my beautiful wig, though and I am still working. I shot a scene Wednesday at the Hilton in Chicago. Got to see Matt Lauria (he is so, so cute and very nice, even eats lunch with the cewr and extras sometimes), Jason Clarke (not the friendliest guy) and Jennifer Beals (very sweet) again. I am hosting my Bunco group tonight - should be fun. Glad it's Friday.

Voice Recognition. found a few programs looking on line.

I have a Toy sitting on my night stand that uses Voice Recognition.

I say "Hello Moshi" and it answers Command Please. I say Time and it gives me the time of day. I say Temperature and it gives me the Tempertaure in the room. I say Today's date and I get todays date. I say Sleep sound and it plays one of three different sleep sounds. I can ever set the alarm by voice.

Now if I can find a program that will read text from the Computer I can pair that with voice recgonition program to do my writing and I am set.

Usher preformed at the AMA's with his shirt on, there is no justice... Most of the women dancers for everyone were nearly naked. And Usher was in a snowsuit! :(

Windows has a program that will read for you....try holding down the "flag" button (the one next to ctrl and alt) and hitting the letter "u" key while holding the flag button down.

This opens the "ease of access" center, and the voice reader. There's also a magnifier in there that makes everything on the screen huge if u want.

enterprikayak, Thanks a bunch. Got the Narator on. It says what I am writing. It even reads my stories to me. Now I know what they sound like when read outloud. Gives me a new perspective on them.

Gotany other goodies you know about? You have been such a help so far.

I'm impressed with you, SB. I'm trying to get this to work (because it could be very useful for some of my students) and all I can get it to do is read the toolbar settings and crap like that.

Alelou, It does that for me too. However it does give every letter I type. Have to go slowly though as if is not fast. It will read my stories. Not e-mails or posts unfortunately. So, I can write and hear any spelling errors. I will play with it some more. Get the speed right.

Anyway, It helps.

Alelou, best I can advise is to hit Flag U. Start Narator. Back out, go to Works, bring up one of your stories to see if the Narator will read it to you. Back out, briing up blank page on Works and see if Narator will read each keystroke you make. If so then that is what your Students can use. After correcting their paper then they can print it.

Not through playing but think have about all of it.

Actually, I just showed them all the link to free NaturalReader, which reads Word files. I'll probably download it over the weekend.

Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if there were some awesome free programs out there for this. "flag-U" is just the windows pre-installed one.

Yay accessibility!

Ok, I'm back from Aachen after having met my sister, her man and my totally adorable nephew (almost 6 months now). He looks a bit like me when i was a baby. Heh.
She's got an awfully nice bum!
