Re: Randomness
Our next door neighbors in Tampa had a husky -- that poor thing always looked SOOOO hot in our weather there.

Distracted wrote:Especially not for a Husky. They're pretty, but they get awfully big. Now my new little grand puppy, on the other hand, he'll never get bigger than 4 pounds according to the breeder. He's a teacup Chihuahua. And no, he's not barking yet. We shall see if I still think he's so darling when the yipping and yapping starts. He's 11 weeks old and I took him to the Krewe des Chiens parade on Saturday wrapped in a blanket and wearing a hoodie sweatshirt my daughter bought for him. (Yes. This IS a dog.) Every ten seconds someone stopped me to exclaim about how cute he was. It was like bringing a newborn to church.

I'm working on it. I can't email photos to myself with my prehistoric phone and the digital camera's on the fritz, but my daughter is supposed to send me a couple of pictures from her iPhone. I'll post at least one on the member photos thread once she sends it to me. He's soooo cute.

Oh gosh. Emily has been begging me for a chihuahua for years. I get so attached, though, and may as well have another child to worry about. I haven't caved yet. Maybe one day.

OK, funniest name for the recent (ongoing?) snow storm on the East Coast: The Snowtorious B.I.G.
We are still getting snow, but it's light and fluffy now! And I we are getting a handle on the problem: Starting yesterday, I saw that the city was not only plowing snow but removing it: bulldosing it into huge 15 fit piles and dumping it into dump trucks.

KTR, read in today's Newspaper that Sweden has a switch hitter for a politican. He is a respected member of Parliment but also as cross dressing, gay, Drag Queen named Ursula.
I like the Europeqn qttitude towards Politicans. (Hell, the French don't trust a politican who doesn't have a mistress or Lover)
Here in the U.S. people got bent all out of shape because Clinton was getting a little on the side.

Ah yes, Fredrick Federlay. Although an MP from the Centre Party he's more of a libertarian. I knew he was gay (he doesn't exactly hide it) but I didn't know he was a cross-dresser. Here the debate has been that he was paid by some lobbyist to go on a trip to entertain some people (not like that) and that's supposed to be a no-no for elected politicians. His excuse? "I didn't go as Fredrick Federlay, I went as Ursula!" Yeah, riiiiight!
She's got an awfully nice bum!

Re: Randomness
You might want to make sure someone hasn't gotten control of your email address to send out spam.
But I used to get that stuff through verizon. It would pick up my name and then put some other ending on it -- a devious way of trying to get someone to open the spam.

There are lots of ways to find out a persons e-mail address.

I do suggest running anti spyware program on your computer and changing the e-mail accounts password.

I've been getting that to some of my accounts for years. I pay it no heed; it always ends up in the spam folder anyway. But I'd hate for someone else to get viagra offers from a certain "Kevin Thomas Riley".

They don't need control over your email account in order to make it look like an email come from you. I forget the technicalities of how it's done, but from what I understand it isn't hard at all, and they do it to make sure they get through your spam filters.
