I wasn't even online yesterday! Not even with my phone. :vulcan: WTF???

Oh, wait. I get it. I happened to be on when you took that screenshot. Oopsie!

Honestly, I don't know what was going on yesterday! I see lots of threads that blew up fast, though, so it's nice to know people were talking about stuff!

I think kitty is finally out of heat. No screeching all day. On the bad news government won't pay my heat bill yet, so can't get her fixed yet. Also I realize I hate fake crab. :upchuck:

Oh, fake crab is revolting. When I worked at Subway the "Seafood Sensation" was fake crab and it was so, so wrong. Seriously. It bounced. The mystifying thing is that some people were fans all the same.

Subway is EVIL! I'm convinced it didn't help my ex, he ate that stuff every day and got colon cancer at 24!

Colon cancer at 24? That's REALLY young. Did he get some genetic counseling? I doubt you can really blame Subway at that age.

We were broken up by then. So IDK. But I just said Subway didn't help. I always get sick eating Subway always.

My son adores Subway so my husband will sometimes get it for him as a treat. But I'd say at least one time out of three it makes him sick, too. He still begs for it, though. Sort of like my husband will still be eager to go to a Chinese/Japanese restaurant even if it makes him sick every single time. (Honestly, sometimes I think he's got to be allergic to something like maybe ginger or soy sauce, except that he's never sick when I make it.) Personally I just don't ever want to repeat things like that. I won't go back.

Okay, enough blabbering. Leaves to mow up.

Why is it so many men do things like that? I don't really expect an answer. I just need to get it out there. The ex is fine now. I miss him, and I'm pathetic.

I got food poisoning from Red Lobster, Orange Julius (are they still around?) and a place here locally, too. :upchuck: And NO I would never go back once that happened.

When I was in my twenties and lived in NYC, I got food poisoning all the time. I got it from food stands, hole in the wall restaurants - and fancy restaurants. I have a very distinct memory of puking my guts out in a darkened Central Park while in a fancy Nicole Miller dress and heels - after being treated to an upscale Sushi meal and a trendy Upper West Side place. My date was charmed, I can tell you. :upchuck:

Once I left NYC, I never got food poisoning again - and I've eat in all sorts of countries. I think I developed some serious antibodies in NYC. I also went vegetarian, which helps.

Worst I ever had was after an Indian lunch (which was delicious) while traveling in England with my dad. I must have spent an hour and a half in a chilly public toilet somewhere in Kent. Oh, the horror.

Also, one of the first times my husband and I went out with a friend, before we were dating each others, we both got sick from the Chinese food we ate before a movie. I guess we had a sort of weird bonding experience over that. Once you survive the runs together, a certain level of intimacy is established...? Our friend had a cast iron stomach and was fine.

I'm glad I don't have any of these horror stories. I always get sick after I get home. No public humiliation.

I have 18 mini loaves of pumpkin bread baking in the oven right now. I give them to my friends and family. I wish I could send each one of you a loaf. Happy Thanksgiving! I am thankful for having met you all here.
