Well Romeo and Juliet isn't my absolute favorite, but that's because Romeo was an idiot. I got really mad at Trip when he said that line. However, I love Othello I think it's all in the execution. But Revenge of the Sith which is basically a rip off of Othello was just plain awful. That said, Sometimes things just can't end well.

Joy. Another fairytale remake. Where is the originality?

Okay well... For me it's not a question of the plot's originality, there are only a limited number of plots to work with. So I don't see how there can be any original plots. That said, who knows it might be exceptional and done with a twist that is orginal. I could have sworn that Kira Knightly's Pride and Prejudice would have been an absolute disaster, but I actually love it. I say let it air and then scream if it sucks. :hatsoff:

Wouldn't anything be better than killing of "Beauty?"

Probably. Unless we get live action French-speaking candlestick men and talking teakettles, clocks, and wardrobes. I might possibly prefer a touchingly dramatic death scene to that. ;-)

It's teen angst meets BatB on CW. Kinda scary to contemplate. I hope they don't ruin it.

Well considering they're billing this show as a "procedural" I'm thinking that it might not be set in a high school enviornment. Added to that the fact that the people from Without a Trace are helming it, I think you might have a better "bright side" to look at that from the one with the castle on ABC.

Of course he isn't a fan of somebody messing with his original ideas. He doesn't like fanfiction either. But I can't say I don't agree with him in this instance.
