Not to worry, JT, usually you don't start until you're 50. (I had a family history and a minor symptom that got me into it a little early.) By then, maybe they'll have figured out a prep that's even less obnoxious.

A prep that is not obnoxious? Maybe by the middle of this century. :bitch: JT will see it but I'll probably be dead by then. Still, as far as medical procedures go, I'm glad to have been born in the 20th century and not the 18th or 19th... :vulcan:

 The terms used in gastroenterology are surprisingly apropos of other aspects of life, I was greatly amused to see. I love a doctor who gives you a copy of his report without even being asked. I wish they all did that. Usually you feel like you might end up like Elaine in that episode in Seinfeld in which her dermatologist decides she's difficult and the American Medical Association blacklists her (after calling her up in the middle of the night to confirm the spelling of her name).

First mucking about in the garden, followed by the year's first big fat tick crawling up my hand at the computer, followed by squirming and scratching and wondering how many more might be burrowing around. Or maybe it was too much petting of feral kitty, who was feeling particularly sluttish today. (What do you guys do for outdoor animals? And yeah, I know I'm supposed to transition her in, but that would freak out the indoor cat.)

Beautiful pictures usually inspire poetic thoughts. But not this time.

I'm glad it went okay. Doesn't sound like much fun to me.

Whine: I'm peeing too much :explode: and I haven't even been drinking that much water or anything. Now I'm scared the frelling UTI is back. :( Just that every time I had UTI I never actually HAD any UTI symptoms. Nothing burns anyway. So I dunno :? :dunno: :?: :banghead: well or maybe my bladder got hit with a shrinking ray :? so I wanna schedule an appointment at the free clinic but of course now it's like Saturday night, and tomorrow is Sunday so I gotta wait until frelling Monday just to call them (IF I'll actually be able to get them on the phone, and that's a big if because Monday is like their busiest day with the longest hold time, and the manager's gonna disconnect my call like way before I even get a chance to talk to a person) then if I actually manage to make an appointment for anytime soon and not like 3 months or whatever I'm not gonna be off until the NEXT Monday, and THEN I'll probably be on my period and unable to pee in a frelling cup. And that's my only day off in the week. :explode: :faint: :banghead: :censored: So in the meantime between now and nowhere I gotta overstuff myself with lots and lots of water. Which would make me PEE EVEN MORE!!!! And gah I'm not thirsty!!! :explode: :faint:

If my recollection is correct, you feel like you have to pee all the time, but you can't actually go when you try...and it hurts like hell! Well, it did for me anyhow. Lots of cranberry juice. Lots and lots of cranberry juice. Maybe it isn't a UTI this time.

Well it doesn't hurt :dunno: but then again I never had any UTI pains before so I dunno. :? :dunno: And I don't have cranberry juice. :( So I'm just drinking too much water. Gah I think I'm gonna throw up if I have one more sip :explode: :faint: :upchuck:

Don't keep drinking too much water if you feel like you're going to throw up. This may sound stupid, but you really can drink too much water. If you're body is telling you to stop, stop.

Whine: the frelling wi-fi won't let me load browser pages again so now I have to sit in the frelling office. And someone's smoking pot outside at the back door and now the whole floor smells of frelling pot and I'm suffocating on their disgusting smoke!!!! :bitch: :explode: Like they FINALLY banned smoking in the building a few weeks ago after a health department inspection (someone said we were like the last building in California that still allowed smoking) but now where did they have the smokers go, like right outside the back door and the wind here ALWAYS blows the same direction that gets all the frelling smoke INSIDE!!! Like what the frell is the point!! Put the smokers at the front door where the wind blows AWAY from the building!! I swear the people in charge must have had their brains replaced with scrambled eggs at some point in the past. From designing this building with a frelling hole in the wall right above she showers letting all the freezing wind in, to insisting on the door to what was previously designated as the smoking room staying wide open at all times totally DEFEATING THE FRELLING PURPOSE, to last summer's exchange students dren when they had to move everyone else to the first floor and naturally there were more people than beds and a huge mess and no responsibility was taken, well and like pretty much every stupid decision this zoo is just so frelling retarded it's unbelievable. Sometimes I feel like the only way I'll be able to figure out what the frell is up with this retard-fest is if I like put my brain in the blender and then put it back in.

 That is a great choice of words. Lousy situation though. My objection to smokers is based on the ones who don't respect anyone else and then whinge about nobody respecting their right to smoke. And I think, "Maybe if you tried respecting my right to have free air space by, say, going 20 feet from the door like you're supposed to, then we can talk respect." The ones who move away from the door and do common sense things like blowing smoke away from the path, well, it's a free country, and if they want to inhale carcinogens, they can.

I can't imagine how anyone could be so incompetent as the people at this place you live, and with such leadership, I'm a bit surprised the place is still standing.

Yes, I've heard of water toxicity before. Too much of anything is no good I guess. Even water.
