I'd say to sue your dad, but I'm guessing you won't be able to. Well, all you can do is get a job and make some more money of your own.

If it's under your dad's name it's his. Only thing you can reasonably do at this point to get any of it back is come to an agreement with your parents. Either that or as CX said, try small claims court. Or Judge Judy.

Hey, T'Poptarts, I'm not sure what you can do about the past, but why not plan for the future and establish a bank account in your own name. If you can't get a checking account because you are still a student without a fulltime job, you certainly could open a savings account. Then just put the money you earn from whatever part time work you do, into your account.

It sounds like your parents care about you and miss you. I know it seems like pestering to you, and that is how I felt when I was in college. But mine are deceased now, and I miss them.

Tpoptarts, mmmm... sorry to intrude but... Isn't what your parents are doing a little... emotional blackmail?

My whine: I had chapter 5 of Disruption almost finished (in paper, I had to write it in my computer) and chapter 6 outlined and I've realized that my sorry excuse of a subplot is absolute crap and I have to begin again. Fortunately I don't need to write all the scenes, but the subplot that goes from chapter 5 to chapter 6, yes, I have to revise and probably redone all of it. I feel terrible

Escriba, i just happy that you are writing more chapters of Disruption, because I really love that story. Having to realise you have to rewrite a chapter (or two) can be depressing, but it can make a story much better. Sooo.. I will wait patiently for your next great chapter.
