See what I mean? :D An injury like that is worth at least half a dozen dates, brow stroking, beverage fetching, and if you play it properly, some comforting. Lucky Dog!

So sorry, Dark Rain! I can empathize although I only broke one toe when I tried a foot sweep in judo class years ago and connected with someone's leg. Funny thing though, my then thirteen year old daughter kept accidently bumping into my foot or stepping on it. Ouch, LOL. :?

Heh, somehow I doubt that anyone'll tread on me. I'm not exactly a small guy. 8)

I need to vent! I've been stripping wallpaper every night for the past week and I still have more to finish. :banghead: That doesn't count washing off the old paste, sanding, etc. :banghead: :banghead: I hurt all over and, if I don't quit gouging myself with the stripper tool, I'm going to need a transfusion. I'm going on vacation in another week. Am I going somewhere beautiful with sandy beaches and palm trees? No! I'm painting and priming. :( Crap!!!

Buy a cheap sander.

Stripping wallpaper is horrible. The only thing worse is stripping layers of old lead paint off of complicated wood moldings.

I'm so happy that we have a newer house now. It will get no wallpaper ever. And NO paint on the damn woodwork.

Course it also has the same color in every room because we moved in five years ago and I still haven't gotten around to painting anything other than the bathroom that had the leak...
OMG, ANOTHER new chapter! NORTH STAR Chapter 28

Poor, poor Dinah, stripping wallpapers sucks, I'm really sorry for you.

You could rent a special steamer that's meant for removing wallpaper.

You have my sympathies, Dinah. Wouldn't be the first time I've thought that just replacing the damned walls would be easier than removing the wallpaper.

I did this job four years ago.
ENOUGH!
Well yes. I continue to write. And on Fanfiction.Net, for those who want, it is possible to cast a glance at my latest efforts. We arrived to
The Ears of the Elves, chapter Forty-four

And here is the beginning of the whole story.

But, I must say, you could also find something else on Fanfiction.net written by me. If you want.

Seriously, consider buying paneling and putting it up over top of the wallpaper?

I like BnB's suggestiong. But if that is not an option, what is your blood type? I am a regular blood donor. :vulcan:

Dinah sorry to hear that. You have my sympathies. Removing wallpaper is such a pain.

Go outside (wear your backpack). Lurk around the edges of things. Scrounge up some string and set a few snares along the bottom of the local hedges. You should at least be able to nail a squirrel or two. Start a campfire out back and roast that sucker. Think of it as valuable historical studies.
