Er - T'Poptarts - an appendix bursting is not like a zit bursting - as in - it could kill you if you don't get medical help immediately. If you can't get a ride to the ER, call 911. If you're worried about money, most hospitals have a free care option for the uninsured that is usually grant funded.

Haul your ass to a hospital emergency room. They are required by law to provide minimum life saving care whether you can pay or not.

Meanwhile, if you that poor check into a medical card. I heard that CA has a reasonably generous public welfare system. If not, move to Canada or Mexico. Seriously.

Look. Just about every hospital in the US (yes even in the USA) has programs in place to help people who can't pay. Besides, it is against federal law I believe to allow someone to die because they are too poor to pay. Not speaking of the potential civil liability. If you are really suffering appendicitis, they will treat you whether you have the money or not. And if your boss gives you any grief, threaten to take them to the court of public opinion by telling the local paper and tv station about it.

If you are suffering lower abdominal pain, and you think that it MIGHT be your appendix, get to an emergency room. If it isn't your appendix, no harm done. If it is, your ass is saved.

Yeah, Our Health Care system, is pretty messed up.

About the only good thing about it is, That if a person needs Life Saving emergancy Medical Attention, No matter the cost, They will get it, even if they cant pay for it.
