TPoptarts, did the CnD notice say what specifically they claimed was in violation? Someone suggested that you might put a disclaimer on your website similiar to what all the fan fic sites have.

All the other pages on your website work. I'm assuming you added the disclaimer to the page that had the video embedded in it.

It's working again now anyway, but usually if it can't find the page like it was doing, if you re-upload original HTML file you have on your HD, it'll work fine again.

Ignore the rest of this crap. What's happened here with your friend is she's been hit with a DMCA notice in regards to possible copyright infringement. US copyright and DMCA law stats you lodge a DMCA Counter Notification within 10 business days (2 weeks) of the original claim to counter their request. The ISP or webhost is then required to forward a copy of this counter claim and reinstate your material as per US law. She doesnt need a lawyer at this point because she hasn't been served, she's been given a DMCA notice. They're much different legal devices.
Then you go and add that copyright notification to the bottom of the page, if Paramount has a whinge THEN you call in the lawyers.
That's pretty much the consensus the way it looks. You need to fill out one of those counter-claims and YouTube will have to put your video back up.

) but I'll do that if they get to my precious channel
![Mad ](./images/smilies/mad.gif)
but they took it off enterprikayak's channel
![Confused :?](./images/smilies/confused.gif)
like can she file the counter DMCA thingy to make them put it back on her account like even if she didn't create the video herself?

if it got removed from you tube but you didnt get a c & d letter it could be a mistake.
you tube probably runs a program looking for certain terms due to the recent copyright issues and it got removed.
so write to you tube and explain this is a parody that you yourself created and it should come under free speech.

I think some cross republican has it in for me at CensorshipCentral (aka Youtube's "copyright" team).
You're prolly safe as long as you don't let them know you know me.
