I never thought I would post to this thread but I was sent this by a friend. Goes to show that some of us are not as technology savvy as others or even being ready for it...
A daughter is visiting her father and is helping in the kitchen. She asks, "Tell me Dad, how
are you managing with the new I-Pad we gave you for your birthday?"
--- This is in German, but you really don't need to understand German to really know the answer to the
daughter's question. Click below for a very brief video....

You laugh, but I bought my mother an iPad and it's almost that bad. She has it tucked away somewhere and is planning to pull it out in a year or two when she feels like messing with it.

Show her skype and put her in touch with some of her friends. IPads are BRILLIANT for skype.

I little while ago the idea came up of creating a Trek-based animated story. At the time I thought that would be next to impossible as a DIY project, but I've been proved wrong:
Star Trek: Aurora
I thought it was very well done, and an entertaining story (considering that it was handicapped by the absence of Trip and T'Pol).
I still had to fix that clog in the coolant line:
Did my turbulence calculations help you diagnose the problem?
Actually, I just banged it with a wrench a couple of times and it cleared right up.
Wouldn't it be great to see some TnT stories in this format?

I'd give them crap about how it looks, but since this is just some fan project and I know it's incredibly hard to even accomplish what they did manage to do, I'll hold off on that. Instead, I'll give them crap about the Vulcan sounding slow, wooden, and completely unnatural, even for a Vulcan.
Re: YouTubes You Just Have to Share With the World...
Slow, wooden and completely unnatural is a prerequisite in the job description of a Vulcan

I loved it.
Yes, the plot was morbid, the technobabble was borderline ("converting a water extractor to extract proteins from organic matter".... Huh? How could machinery designed to distill water be modified to put out intact proteins? Makes no sense at all but I guess it's marginally less nauseating than brother-en-brochette), the captain was sorta Mary-Sueish, the Vulcan sounded. like. this., all the women either had the same plastic surgeon or suffered from an extreme form of gigantomastia, and everybody was crosseyed, but it was Trek and it was new. That alone made it priceless.

A friend of mine has a similar engine (although I thought it was 4L rather than 3.5) in a Pilbeam single seater. It's "quite fast" to put it mildly. He suggested I co-drove it a few years ago, but I decided to stick with my TVR. The Pilbeam makes my puny 450 BHP per ton feel safe and conservative.

One of my favourite bands "Böhse Onkelz" ('Eeevil Unclez'). Song is called 'Necrophile'
