Now that all the Christmas morning things are done, I've got some quiet time to enjoy the books I was given. I got two Star Trek novels (Dedalus and The Brave and the Bold) but first I'm reading The Joy of x. Despite what you're probably thinking, it's a very entertaining book about mathematics.

Spending Christmas in North Florida is giving me a lot of story ideas. Maybe by next Christmas I can turn them into a story.
