You might try eliminating other gastric irritants from your diet (ahem. alcohol. ahem) and taking Prilosec OTC for a couple of weeks. If that doesn't help, then I'd drink decaf tea.

Well said.
Oh yes. Life is hard, Elessar!
Well yes. I continue to write. And on Fanfiction.Net, for those who want, it is possible to cast a glance at my latest efforts. We arrived to
The Ears of the Elves, chapter Forty-four

And here is the beginning of the whole story.

But, I must say, you could also find something else on Fanfiction.net written by me. If you want.

Glad to hear you are back at work, Evcake, but take it easy getting back up to speed! I have four to five years left before retirement and I am counting the hours, minutes, seconds already (like a good Vulcan  ). When that last mortgage payment goes into the mail - I'm filing those retirement papers!

Hope your day went well, Evcake. It must be pretty tiring getting back up to speed.

I hope your daughter's car cooperates with your retirement plans, Linda!!!

I know! How they've turned the whole "built after World War 2" thing on its head! Who knows what's going to happen now.

I still wish they'd get back to the Beverly/Kim/Artifact main plot. I don't know why they're avoiding it unless they're just REALLY ambitious and plan to stretch it out liek 4 or 5 seasons.

I'm at work trying to learn about different averaging methods for Navier-Stokes equations in two phase flows and having really hard time concentrating today. I read for a minut and start fidgeting in my chair. Not a good day for reading today.

Guess it depends on what you're reading. Mathematics never holds my interest, so matter what sort of day it is. But then, I'm no engineer. 8)

You're so crafty, evcake. Where do you find the time to DO stuff like that?

It depends on what youre reading, because I'm sure I wouldn't fidget at all if I were reading some Trip and T'Pol story. :D And usually math really holds my interest, but for few weeks now I haven't done much anyhting else than reading math and not just any math very difficult new things and I've been reading even whole weekend so I guess it's starting to take it's toll. Too bad that I don't have effective Vulcan brains that wouldn't have problems with too much new information.

Sounds like taking a break from it might be a good idea.
