On another note. I'm so sick of not having time to waste time.

I miss my Trekkie friends! What's worse is I don't know what new stories have been posted. :(

I wanna go back out to Pittsburgh and visit with JustTripin and go star gazing! Grrrr.

Stupid work!

Yes! And come visit me. :)

And I'll tell you what stories have been posted: MINE. Look on the front page. OH, and Alelou's "Commander Tucker Has a Baby" is 100% perfect. MUST SEE fanfic!!!! She is phenomenal! (check for that story in Main Engineering) She wrote two others in the main section of Triaxian Silk.

My son had an appendicitis on his eigtheenth birthday. He got sick at school and got himself home. When I got home, he said "google appendicitis." I came down the stairs and said, that's what you have. When they checked him in, they asked him some routine questions then got him in bed and hooked up to some IV or something. The were totally prepping him for surgury, just waiting for the doctor to come in and confirm. Everyone was sure it was an appendicitis just from the checklist. He checked in at like 7:00 and had surgary at midnight. They were very no-nonsense about this!!!!!

I repeat, based on a list of symptoms, they simply started processing him for surgery!!!! GO TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM IF YOUR SYMPTOMS MATCH THOSE ON WEBMD!!!!!

THIS IS A MOM speaking to you. I am used to bossing people around. GO! GO! No we don't want to loose you!!!

Have healt while we're here. :D
Well yes. I continue to write. And on Fanfiction.Net, for those who want, it is possible to cast a glance at my latest efforts. We arrived to
The Ears of the Elves, chapter Forty-four

And here is the beginning of the whole story.

But, I must say, you could also find something else on Fanfiction.net written by me. If you want.

It is relatively routine here in the USA for people/families to get financially wiped out by a single serious illness. It happens all the time. At least she doesn't have any kids depending on her, or a house payment to make. At worst, she can always declare bankruptcy if she has to. The nice thing about abject poverty (I speak from experience) is that once you hit rock bottom, there really isn't much more that anyone can do to you.

Best thing is to get checked out.

Since last November I thought I was having a series of colds. Around Jamurary I was thinking maybe bronchitus had made a comeback. Mid February I was thinking walking pneumonia.

Well I finally went to the ER. Couldn't walk more than 25 yards without gasping for breath.

Turns out I have been facing congestive heart failure.

Had I gone in earlier it would have been much easier and cheaper to deal with.

Moral? Don't wait, get checked out.

Unfortunately that's pretty true. I say 'unfortunately' because declaring bankruptcy has become such a savior financially and doesn't last as long on your record anymore that just about anyone is doing it for what would be ridiculous circumstances 25 years ago. I speak from 2nd hand experience... someone I know used it to solve all their problems when of course, it didn't.

Hth2k, I am so sorry, and I will definitely take the warning seriously.
Working on a major fan fic project. Two-thirds done. Hope to put it up in the not TOO distant future.
