Okay, I worked on this during an excruciating portion of the school orchestra concert tonight (thankfully other parts were easier to bear).

That "might have been a clue" was what got me. It's hard watching that episode and not feeling that those guys ought to have known better after all those movie nights...

I can't quite visualise when this would have happened (Terra Prime, perhaps?) but I can imagine something like this happening when Trip met baby Elizabeth for the first time.
