Well I thought he seemed straight but A. Not my business. B. Who can really know by guessing anyway.
Some of these people haven't taken their medication. Let's see what happens now...

DK did an excellent job either way.

Amen. I don't understand why people (media and celebreties) seem to feel a need to let complete strangers whom they will probably NEVER meet about their orientation anyway.

In that interview clip where they mentioned "Heroes" and he started talking about the dog...
I also wish that we could've seen more of Trip and Malcolm's friendship. It was interesting and, when done, well-done. Unfortunately it went on the back burner after season 2, although the Romulan drone ship part was good.

We'll always have fanfic, though. I especially like ShiShi's 'Protector' series.
If anyone cares, imdb.com says DK "Met girlfriend, Tam Nguyen(I) while filming "Foreign Policy".
He's even got a Vietnamese girlfriend. Heh. That's funny. He even likes oriental women in real life.

One of my favourite scenes - the "just drop it" conversation from Harbinger. The looks on their faces, the tones of voice - just so much fun.

Oh, yeah, that was truly a great buddy moment!
I also liked it in "Shuttlepod One" when they drank to T'Pol's bum.

Yeah, that was a gem. I don't know what made me laugh more, Malcolm going "don't tell me you've never looked at her in that way" in that awfully letchy voice, or Trip going "WHAT?" when he says 'bum'.
Brought back memories of one of the funniest favourite Hugh Laurie / Blackadder scenes in history...

Re: R/S: Why?
I hate The Seventh but the scene where Trip had arranged for Mal to have Bangers and Mash (please forgive any spelling faux paus) was cute. The way je said Bangers and mash was pretty funny as to an American both those words can mean something other than food.

Re: R/S: Why?
I can see how 'bangers' could be misconstrued, but 'mash'?
Does 'mash' mean something else in the US?
Might have to dig out that ep again just to hear him say it, LOL.

Yeah mash can mean something else if you're a pervert and I personally am not.

Re: R/S: Why?
Ah. I was thinking alcohol, for some strange reason, and then 'bangers n' mash' might allude to strippers and shots.
Anyway, back on topic (sorry): Was Hoshi's sudden fascination with cooking (Singularity) the only reason she believed Malcolm when he said he thought her dish was too salty? Would she have reacted the same if, say, Trip had told her the same?

Re: R/S: Why?
Great train of thought but unfortunately given the scifi catastrophy, I'd have to say probably yes.

Re: R/S: Why?
Ahh, the sci-fi quotient.... The reason we're all here?
If the definition of what makes us human is our reactions to certain emotional stimuli, then I would argue that Hoshi's reaction to Malcolm's comment on her cooking was also flavoured by certain emtional prejudices, preconceptions and stimuli.
Ergo: she believes him over Trip. Despite the sharing of breaking arms secrets in De-Con when they both believed they would die anyway.
