Alelou wrote:"Weapon" -- This could be an old one I missed or it may be new -- but it's pretty fun with the old TnT chemistry.

I wouldn't know which one might choose!

Alelou wrote:Okay, I'm bummed. They pulled "What Hurts the Most" and suspended MelBell's account at YouTube.

I don't get this. If I were a record company, I'd be happy to get my songs out there in a setting like that. It's great marketing. I didn't even know I liked Rascal Flatts until I saw that video. Or Nick Cave on another one. Or Coldplay for that matter. Or a whole bunch of other songs. Now I'm interested to hear more of their stuff..

Dumb, huh? They did it to me too. My Trek antiwar vid had 40,000 views and they axed my account over a 30 sec Simpsons clip. :bitch:

Jeez. So they actually tell you what you did 'wrong'?

Does this mean FOX truly is the root of all evil? CBS/Viacom certainly tolerates a lot of YouTube-ness.

Those of you already familiar with all of Ancasta's work will know "I'll Find a Way" but I'd never seen it before. What a lovely video. Even if I didn't like the song or the way this video captures grief, I'd still just love the parade of wonderful Trip expressions. I wish there was a key to all the episodes in this because I'd go hunting for screen shots from some of these.

(Hey, HopefulR, you got a copy of this one???)

But of course! :D

But before I uploaded it, I thought I'd see if I could find it online. So I put on my deerstalker cap and hunted down Ancasta's website.

Here is her webpage for the video, with vidder notes, lyrics, and a download link for a big, beautiful widescreen .wmv of the video: http://www.ancastascorner.com/ill_find_a_way.html

Ohhh, "I'll Find a Way" was very good. You're spot-on about the parade of Trip expressions, Alelou. Reminds us of how talented an actor CT is. :)

BTW, does anyone have a nice sharp clip of Trip sitting up in bed after his Lizzie nightmare? And if you do, might you be willing to share it? I've only been able to get my hands on a clip of mediocre quality.

Here: Trip's nightmare

I hope it helps you.

You know, I think this song Sweet Surrender by Sarah MacLachlan would lend itself pretty nicely to a T'Pol video, though I suppose it might be overstating the case a bit...

It doesn't mean much
it doesn't mean anything at all
the life I've left behind me
is a cold room
I've crossed the last line
from where I can't return
where every step I took in faith
betrayed me
and led me from my home

And sweet
sweet surrender
is all that I have to give

You take me in
no questions asked
you strip away the ugliness
that surrounds me
are you an angel
am I already that gone
I only hope
that I won't disappoint you
when I'm down here
on my knees
And sweet
sweet
sweet surrender
is all that I have to give

sweet
sweet surrender
is all that I have to give

And I don't understand
by the touch of your hand
I would be the one to fall

I miss the little things
I miss the simple thimgs
I miss everything (about you)

It doesn't mean much
it doesn't mean anything at all
the life I left behind me
is a cold room

And sweet
sweet
sweet surrender
is all that I have to give

As Flomuk puts it in the introduction, "I just can't leave this couple alone."

Especially good for country fans:

Also two by AngelFire that are new to me, though apparently they are oldies.

This one is a rather amusing take with Billy Joel's "You May Be Wrong."

This is a slow B&W TnT with Celine Dion singing a torch song, "Seduces Me." I'd love to hear a real good old low-down blues take on this song.
