The local news found a doctor who's a big Star Trek fan. He wears a TNG uniform to work and had some stuff he bought at the Christie's auction.

Kinda neat to find this in conservative Charlotte! LOL

Being a fan is great and all, but wearing the uniform to WORK is a little over the top for me. :?

Except maybe on Halloween. If my office didn't have a "no midriff baring" dress code I would SO wear my MU T'Pol outfit on Halloween.

To work? Mhhh... I don't know what the hell my Doctors and Nurses could think. Not to mention the Patients.

I don't think I could even bring myself to wear a Star Trek t-shirt.

That reminds me of my favorite license plate seen on the road recently: KHAAAAN
Great laugh on the way to work!

We have to wear a red shirt on "casual dress Fridays". (Why have a dress code on a day when you're supposed to wear whatever you want? I have no earthly idea.) Anyway, I have this red shirt with a Star Trek-ish logo and the words "Boldly Going Nowhere" that I wear on occasion. The nurses love it.

You see some interesting sci-fi plates over here too:

"SPD ONE" (and this car looked kinda banged up, but it was in one piece. Go figure LOL)

"RED FIVE" (Star Wars fans will get this one)

"FYRFLY" (Ditto Firefly fans)

"NC1701J" (Enterprise from the future)

And one I saw on I-485 once...

"ADOCNTA" (I was puzzling over this one, but I saw a "Starfleet Medical San Francisco" window sticker and a sticker for Carolinas Medical Center Main and finally got it. It's short for "(I'm) a doctor, not a...." )

How about one of Phlox's tunics? I'm sure it would be very becoming. :)

Is it sad that I immediately recognized the maglock seal from First Contact where Picard has to release the particle emitter because the Borg are attempting to build an interplexing beacon to contact 24th century borg? :D

At least you're in good company. :D
By the way, where did you recognize this?

It's that round interlocking rotating lock-looking thingy in the doctor's museum in his office. (Of course, I had no idea what it was until Elessar pointed it out. )

I think it was in the Trekkies 1 or Trekkies 2 documentary that there is a dentist office that dresses in Star Trek uniforms and actually the whole office is done in Star Trek decor.
