When you have to hunt all over the screen for links and buttons, to people with old eyes it is extremely frustrating. I have a legally blind programmer friend who lost his job because of GUI. He was used to strings of data but having to hunt visually for things placed here and there randomly on a visually busy screen, drove him out of a job. Sometimes what seems like progress is actually a barrier to some people. Especially those of us who "used to ride dinosaurs to school as kids", as my daughter puts it!![]()
