Pez? I thought Pez disappeared ages ago. :? I have a beany Vulcan. His name is Samik. He used to live on my dashboard to telepathically give driving directions. :vulcan: He has been replaced by a Garnmin GPS unit. I'll take a picture of him. Say, why don't we create a thread and show photos of our weirdest Star Trek memorabilia?

Ha, I just thought, 'Well, I don't really have weird Trek memorabilia.' Then I realized, 'Except for the Trapper-Keeper full of page-protected Trek pictures I made in high school...' And didn't my dad have a fit about that, since I was using the good paper and setting the printer to use tons of ink for my Star Trek picture pages...

Good times.

Trapper-keeper! Haven't heard that phrase in a long time. Ah, memories. 8) I have a small collection of IDICs, and that Star Trek TOS Barbie doll set. Other than a whole bunch of ST paperback novels and the beanie Vulcan, that's about it. Oh, a little sticker with the Enterprise on it and the word "geek".

The weird Star Trek memorabilia comes to me for free from my thrift store shopping mom. And she doesn't know any of the shows. What a nice mom. :) I have some pretty cool Christmas Ornaments, including a future Enterprise with three warp nacelles. (sp?)

Oh yeah, I forgot my ornament ships. I have collected about seven of those that light up and/or say something. I have a little list of the others I want to get that I keep in my wallet. Vendors usually have a pile of these at conventions, so I will pick up more when I get to another convention. 8)

Last week at the thrift shop I picked up a TOS Star Trek UNO game in a tin that seems to be in new condition if anyone wants it for the cost of shipping plus 50 cents, which is what I paid for it.

Or if we ever have a contest here, it could be the prize.

I vote for it to be a contest prize! That would be cool. :D I have a double of a TOS DVD with two episodes on it (forgot which) but I will check when I go home, that I could offer as a contest prize for a later contest. I'll bet other people here have similar items they would part with. Why not prizes for future monthly contests like Aquarius's word of the month challenges? And have a small committee of people (who don't enter the contest) be the judges? One of the judges could be the person who offered the prize.

Well, let's see. Last time we tried to talk about contests it ended in general lack of interest. I would also just be happy to pass it along. I only picked it up because I thought surely SOMEONE here would treasure it. (I know not everybody would.)

Well, you have to have some interest to have a contest. Hmm. I'd be willing to participate either as a writer or on a selection committee if there is interest. I'm not sure how to gage whether there is interest. :?

I'm up for a contest, but I already have the Star Trek Uno.

I love to have a Star Trek Uno or to have a contest, but mailing it outside the U.S. maybe a bit costly. :doubt:

Well, if we can figure out how to do that, I'd be fine trying it. It weighs 11 oz before packing. Too bad I'm not an Ebay guru, because then this would probably be easy.

You just have to have your own Captain's chair...
