I haven't seen her listed for anything, but there's like 20 different kindsof little dinky conventions in diferent places. Anyone have a clue? Last I looked, she was no longer billed for the Creation Vegas con... Hmm...

I don't think the little cons are doing so well right now. Even if you get your air fare and hotel paid for, I think a celeb would like to make some money off photos with fans and autographs. I don't mean to imply that money is the only reason actors go to these cons, but it probably is tiring to try to make so many of them. Especially the small ones. Don't mind me though, I am just down because my favorite small con (Starbase Indy) seems to be dying.

Jolene is in South Afica filming Starship troopers 3 right now she's more interested in making movies than conventions.At least right now from Imdb and a recent interview she was going to be busy doing other film roles.

I loved Starship Troopers but I heard Starship Troopers 2 was absolutely revolting. Anyone see it? Now I have to go dl it...

The second one was mildly interesting, but for the most part it was boring.

Well, since I thought the original Starship Troopers was "absolutely revolting", I didn't have any plans to see the others. I may have to change my mind if Jolene's in #3. Guess I'll wait for one of you guys to see it to make sure the bugs don't tear her limb from limb or something.

At least right now from Imdb and a recent interview she was going to be busy doing other film roles.

Maybe I'm just being a bit of a grump here but....I don't like it when actors don't take at least SOME time off and attempt to go mingle with their fans.


I understand they have to work too.....BUT the fans are the ones who in the end PAY to see them in these roles.

Plus guys, remember, this may be true in GENERAL, but not in reference to Jolene. She may WANT to do her own work, but the real NEED of money like to pay bills isn't there. She's married to a multi-multi-multi millionaire, remember.

Well, it's entirely possible that she simply doesn't like going to them. She's gotten really sick at the last couple that she went to, right? Maybe that's why she avoids them...

Well, no she only got sick at the last ONE. The one before that she just didn't show. She had "work related committments". Seriously, the first one would not have been nearly as hurtful or off-pissing (my new word) to the fans if CREATION had f'ing TOLD everybody she wasn't coming when SHE told THEM she wasn't coming, which was an f'ing WEEK before they told US! They told US the first day of THE CON!

But, I repeat myself. The 2nd one, yes, she got sick. Sigh.

You know what I think? I think my incredible proximity to her caused an instantaneous fertilization and rapid-rate pregnancy and she felt morning sickness as I neared the Photo-Op tent.
