Since EK said ME, instead of US, I suppose I'd better offer my official thumb-up ;)

Hehe, I'll be at OCS but JT just informed me of how many of our patrons are going.

I wish I could be there - if it were a week or two later, I might be able to because after week 3 we are allowed to leave the base on weekends, and I COULD techincally fly out there for a day (they're payin me pretty well for all living expenses covered) while being there, BUT, it's only after week 3. And this is like weekend #2 or something, so, sorry :(

But I will be there in spirit wherever TriaxianSilk members go!!

Hey who's good at makin t-shirts? Make a TriS t-shirt :)

Ooooh! Cool idea! Anybody have the skills to make a full size 8X10 iron-on quality image with the TriS logo on it? Reverse it and post it, and we could all print it out on transfer paper and iron it onto stuff.... t-shirts, canvas bags, drawstring pants... you name it! Connor will sign 'em, too. I know. He signed my NOT.DEAD. t-shirt while I was wearing it. Maybe if I put the TriS logo on the back of a pair of white exercise shorts and showed up to the autograph session wearing them... :D

I'm very glad "you *think* you could manage something like that. " :)

But... I must admit: I'm afraid of the "something" you think!

Please, don't forget a little bit of "ROMANTICISM"!
Well yes. I continue to write. And on Fanfiction.Net, for those who want, it is possible to cast a glance at my latest efforts. We arrived to
The Ears of the Elves, chapter Forty-four

And here is the beginning of the whole story.

But, I must say, you could also find something else on Fanfiction.net written by me. If you want.

Oh dear. If enterprikayak, D., CX, and T'Poptarts go, can I resist? Probably not . . . And maybe we should start a new "Send Johnny money thread" for one day at the con? Oh dear . . .

Hey, I wonder.....I don't need money for this con (barely, just :^P) but peeps like T'Poptarts or John who are dying to go and have no cash for the madness.....

....would there be enough interest if I started a "Support the Sibs" thread where we could do charitable donations for peeps who are in the vicinity of a con and can't go due to $. (You'd only make a donation if you damn well wanted to, so don't worry about "compulsory" donations or anything).

If people who could afford it and wanted to help a TuckerSib (like for Elessar or T'Poptarts for example), they could email $20 to paypal or whatever and if s/he got 12 donations, that would be like $240 to assist with tix, bus fare, etc. To slide sideways into Texas.

Also, anyone who would receive help doesn't have to feel like a "charity case", BTW, cause we all understand the financial burden of trying to convince spouses to spend the dough, or just not having the dough.

Does this sound like something anyone would be interested in?

If no one is, please squelch me. But it could be a way to help each other out, in a pretty harsh world where friendly Samaritan-style helping is just outdated.

And that way if say, Mitchell, writes that, like, some aliens marked up his cornfield and stole his cows, we'd have an infrastructure for financially assisting him a bit. Since we're all family here. We could help any of us when the need arose.

I would love to go, but it looks like I won't be able to - this year anyway. :(
However, I would be happy :D to contribute $20 to the cause. And a free pair of earrings to every contributor. (A ten dollar value - 340 pair sold at that price in the Friendshop of the SPL in 2007) :D
I was their highest ranking vendor after the pencil and floppydisc people. (Squee.)

Well, I'm helplessly laughing. You've got that much control . . .

I wouldn't mind helping a little with donations for cons.

I'm up for contributing. And I've already got tickets AND hotel reservations for both me and hubby, so there's no need to exercise your strange voodoo powers on me, EK. I WOULD like for you to do an iron-on-able Tri-S logo so I can have another t-shirt to wear on Sunday, though. I'm wearing my spare NOT.DEAD. shirt that Connor hasn't signed yet on Saturday. Maybe I can get him to sign it. Tee-hee. :D

so do you want the logo straight across your breasts, or should I slant it a little?

I'll come up with something and post a high-res version of it so you guys can print it onto iron-on sheets (buy em at a store that sells comp paper). Suggestions please? :D
