And make sure when you graciously email them and offer your services, you mention how your thing is completely original satire and doesn't infringe on anything. Cause it is and it doesn't.

I graciously offered my services to a con once but they turned me down. Like duh of course they would I'm not even like famous or anything but hell I wanted to go to the con so I tried anyway. Well but then again it was a Creation con and those aren't really like fan-oriented and stuff. And they only give you like maybe half a second to publicly embarrass yourself in a T'Pol costume. So I don't know that's why I asked if anyone else wanna contact them about it... like maybe THAT would actually work if there's like "fan demand" or whatever.

A word of caution to those planning on attending this FedCon because of Connor. It seems probable that he won't be a guest there.

Still no word from Fedcon denying or confirming the rumor. I'm planning to ask for my money back if he's not coming. None of the other guests interest me enough to pay that much money to do anything.

All I can say is if he's NOT coming, it's an extremely disappointing situation.

An update. There was apparently a misunderstanding where the organizer of the con got a verbal assent from Connor but never got in touch with his agent, so there was no deliberate fraud. Negotiations are still in progress, but I hear that if Connor DOES officially sign on he'll do it before Christmas. The con organizers are encouraging us to wait a month before we ask for a refund because it's still remotely possible he might be there. I guess I can wait a month.
