Sure! Here there's such an amount of beautiful stories! :D
Well yes. I continue to write. And on Fanfiction.Net, for those who want, it is possible to cast a glance at my latest efforts. We arrived to
The Ears of the Elves, chapter Forty-four

And here is the beginning of the whole story.

But, I must say, you could also find something else on Fanfiction.net written by me. If you want.

pdsldl wrote:Just scanned/read through my pdf copy of the book. TnT didn't get together and aren't seriously a part of the story until page 377 and then longer section starts in the 380's. After that they are separated again. There are 442 pages in the whole book.

Just to clarify my earlier post, T & T are together emotionally and very much still a couple, but events prevent them from being together physically.

I am enjoying the book very much overall. There are some parts that drag a bit, like the Vulcan thing, but I am happy. Any Enterprise is better than NO Enterprise. :)

Still when you're on a STRICT budget, luxeries have to be carefully scrutinized. When someone here says they've found the BEST TnT book ever written, I might consider paying for it.

 One of "us," meaning someone on the Board, an Uber-T&T-Shipper person, would have to write it.

Not going to happen. That the 'official' canon books allow for a TnT romance at all is a surprise. For some odd reason the fandom that wrote any of the 2 or 3 virtual seasons I found at Warp 5 or other places on the web (those on HOT or here are not guilty of this) had rules that said no romance between main characters. Boring and un-natural as far as I can see with 80+ people being confined on a starship the size of Enterprise for indefinite periods of time with no other contact with outsiders.

I'm glad the Enterprise novels are continuing the Trip& T'Pol relationship,I want to see it continued in future books. I remember Margaret Clark was so outraged about the script for The abomination after she read it.Margaret went to the TPTB at Paramount and got permission bring back Trip an to continue the TnT romantic relationship in the books.I also enjoy all the Tnt fanfic stories at HOT and Triaxaian silk too. :D

No kidding. It's not like the canon writers stuck to that either.

Okay, I just got the new book today and am not skipping ahead, but the notion of no romance at all in the books is silly. Epic war stories like they are doing almost always have romantic subplots, though they are not romances. Duh. It adds to the story. I can say I am happy they are doing TnT as a die-hard shipper, but even if I weren't a die hard shipper I'd say they make the most sense if you look at say, Terra Prime, Bound. . .and pretty much the whole third and fourth season. It's *the_abomination* that made no sense.

But just because it adds to the main story doesn't mean they'll let it happen. They sure didn't develop anything romantic and more long term for any of the characters on the series that made sense.

Once you've read the book Honeybee I'd like your take on the political situation the author presents, especially from the Vulcan POV.

Will, do pdsldl. I'll add my two sense when I've finished the book!

And no, just because something makes sense, the powers that be won't necessarily do it. That's a given.

Honeybee. TPTB are more likey to do something that makes no sense at all.
I could put my foot through the TV at the lost potential of developing Hoshi,Malcom, Travis not to mention TnT all we got was ARcher and he wasn't particuarly well developed either.

We're not talking about the show. We're talking about the books.

Talking about both really. TPTB seem to have a whacked sense of what their viewers want to see and I think they indulge the whims of their writing staff too much in lieu of listening to their viewers. Maybe if they hired more talented, imaginative writers (they can't all have failed at their own relationships) that can manage a real adult relationship between main characters we'd get something more consistently real worth watching. I'm getting tired of the crash and burn scenarios that play out when characters get together . I mean real live people have real live fun filled adventurous relationships not the doomed boring things we usually get to see on TV or read in a lot of books.
