Excuse me WG, but when did she stop using the Nasal Inhibitor? I cannot remember any Episode where it said she no longer used the Inhibitor. With all of those smelly Males on board using smelly soap and the females using strong Perfumes and lotions she would be assaulted by so many strong odors she would have to use one out of sheer defensive safety to her senses.

As far as the wedding gown goes I still think that a modern (for the 22nd Century) would be what she chooses for her Trip. He is the love of her life and pleasing him pleases her. So getting done up in a human wedding gown would do that. Please him and please her because he is pleased.

I still like distracted Silver but what would it be made of? What cloth. I am a babe in the woods when it comes to wedding dresses. The only thing I know about them is they are expensive and only worn once. Hell of a waste of money actually.

If you want to see how ridiculously over the top some people will go, SB, you should really see the UK TV series "Big Fat Gypsy Weddings".

I'll look it up, but I know she did. As for the modern dress, it's your choice if you think Trip wouldn't be "pleased" with an old fashioned dress, it's your story.

And if you watch "Say Yes To The Dress" on TLC you can get a lot of ideas.

Methinks marchale is a het female, since when I checked out her fakes *ahem. Strictly for educational purposes. ahem.* the only birthday suits I saw were male. Not that I'm complaining, mind you. And they were tastefully done. Jolene has done photo shoots that were racier than marchale's Connor fakes. I suppose what's good for the goose...

Dis, I like your Silver idea for T'Pol's wedding gown. What cloth sould it be made of? Silver thread? She would look good with her skin tone in silver.

Silk is an option, velvet might be nice. When and more importantly where will the wedding take place? What your wedding gown is made of depends on location and season. If it's summer on a beach, silk or organza works. If it's winter in some sort of formal hall, velvet and satin are good choices. T'Pol would likely stay away from crape, (not to be confused with the french pancakes) that fabric snags and pulls easily, and it's scratchy to wear.

Oh the nightmares of my junior bridesmaids dress. That thing was hideous!

OOOOH. Silver silk. Absolutely. If she can stand the idea of wearing a garment made of worm excretions, that is. I suppose it's better than furs or leather.

Soval wears it. And what about all them jammies? I don't think they're synthetic... You know in Imperial Russia they'd make Court Dresses out of Silver thread wovan into white silk. All Imperial daughters wore them to marry.... Just a thought. Not a wedding dress, but this is what cloth of silver looks like. http://entertainment.webshots.com/photo ... 3164FpmODa

Note: Weighs a LOT! This is heavy uncomfortable fabric and it was known to make it impossible for a lady to move independently. But it was much less heavy than it's gold counterpart.

My advice stick to dye.

I don't know when the scene is supposed to be set, but the painting is called "Godspeed" and was made by Edmund Blair Leighton in 1900.

Imagine trying to paint something as brightly as that helmet.
