"Pinch of salt" means don't take me too seriously. Or don't believe everything you hear, depending on it's use. In
Escriba's case I can safely assume she's referring to her wicked sense of humor.

Grounded for 3 weeks? Dare I think that it was because you didn't do well on your finals... because you were spending too much time online? I hope not. As a fanfic writer who's been through my own obsessive period, I understand where you're coming from, but I've found that moderation is the key. If I spend too much time online the rest of my life suffers big time.

Well ya I was spending too much time online, not enough studying 
I haven't gotten the results back though. Sorry for my absence recently. Been busy but I promise I will have chap 1 of reunited up by Christmas. Oh and happy holidays!

Hey guys and gals, just letting you know that I will be mostly dormant for the next 2 weeks cuz finals start next Friday so I will be super busy studying. I will try my best to work on my stories but no guarantees.
