And that's why you're the dominatrix Queen of the AU!

It is a very sad episode.

The three canon AU of Enteprise has different tones, which is why I like them. Mirror Universe is the "evil counterparts" one, and it's fun in it's own twisted way. Twilight is tragic and sad. And E2 is, even if Earth is destroyed in it, optimistic and full of life and future.

It is interesting to work with those different points of views of the Trek universe.

Absolutely. Twilight is meant to be sad and present a wrong vision of the future. I love your Twilight story, by the way. It's far more in tune with the actual text of the episode than mine. :D It's tone fits the sadness of the episode.

I think the MU is the most playful of episodes, with its tongue firmly in its cheek. And E2 is just a fun - what if Enterprise went Voyager kind of thing. I agree, aside from Trip's unfortunate early demise, it's a very optimistic episode. Archer gets a wife, even. We can only speculate what happened to poor Malcolm.

Well you did start it! Escriba ;-) You know what? Actually I think it's unfair, I think it's harder to think up an origional AU than it is to write anything else. When you've got Escriba's and Honeybee's floating around making magic, the rest of us schmucks don't stand much of a chance to do any good.

No, that's not true.

Everybody has a strong point and a weak point. Perhaps I'm good at AUs, but I couldn't write Alelou's "Missing scenes", because I'm not that good filling the holes, I guess.

I absolutely suck at fluff (it's because I don't like the genre much, but even if I make an effort I can't write it), NC-17 stories and writing a playful and humorous relationship between Trip and T'Pol.

Still I wouldn't attempt to write and ORIGIONAL AU. I've developed a severe case of inferiority complex thanks to you. :-p  But my thing is I can't TRY to be funny. It either is or it isn't I can't be deliberate.

Absolutely, that last chapter of Mirage is really funny.

And the story itself has a really bold AU vision - that has the characters, especially TnT, behaving the way the would if they were living in that world. T'Pol is more Vulcan, but she's still adventurous. Trip is still Trip, but he's not as open as he would have been.

The vampire hero of a totally different Twilight. The one that has tween girls all aflutter. Me? I like vampires that want to bite me before marriage. But I'm old-fashioned.

Ah, thank you :D Add a little more sarcasm than usual in T'Pol and more hiperactivity in Trip and you're done.

Actually, Mirage it's like this weird universe where characters' behavior is a little extreme (Archer is more anti-Vulcan, Hoshi has even more phobias, Malcolm is more a soldier, Travis is more serious and responsible...) and the set leads us to think it should be more tragic... But I'm writing it in the Trek fun and adventure way.
