Well, there seems to be a mojority of females in here - unlike the parties I used to frequent in my youth (dammit). But I guess that's not too surprizing. Would this be a general ENT site, there'd probably be a lot more guys in here, probably technobabble the hell out of each other, but with TnT - and the implication of romance - that's not the strongsuit of the males of the species. (Damn, I had that newyears resolution of stopping to write such long and complicated sentences, in an attempt to make my writing somewhat easier to understand, but as with all my resolutions of so many years, it doesn't appear to hahe worked, which shouldn't be surprizing, as, upon longer pondering of the subject at hand, I realize that actually none of them has ever worked out. *sigh* )

I think probably I am guilty of making assumptions from Enerdhil's avatar -- it just looked kind of feminine to me. (Which Chagall would probaby find irritating, since it looks kind of like his style.) And, as Kotik points out, chances are usually more than even that any newcomer will be female.

No guilty assumed. I never thought about the Avatar being somewhat ("feminine")?. In fact it is an old published design of a Tolkien's elf (The Tolkien scrapbook, ~1980) that I borrowed to use in Tolkien related sites. I added the green jewel (that is really the Elessar) to the design. The nick also came from another Tolkien story, I needed one and, obviously, those like Elrond, Gandalf, Elessar where already taken. So I digged 'Unfinished Tales' to find "Enerdhil" in a note.

Well, I know I've been writing like a madman lately (7 chapters in 10 days) and I think chappie 3 of the round robin challenge should be in the pipeline, too. What worries me more is that the discussions are awfully quite lately. Maybe it is to blame on now being hot vacation season in many parts of the world

I submited chapter 3 of the round robin last thurs night and am waiting on 4 to be edited. I think the submissions just got backed up with everything, 'cause I know you've been writing, Kotik. As for the forums... idk, what do you want to talk about (on a different thread then this, of course).

Stories are in store. About the remainder, I think a little of vital lymph is needed.
Probably (I am talking for myself) speaking of our impressions and of our ideas about Trip and T'Pol seems to have become slightly circular.

Two reminders people:

One, this thread is only for the promotion of newly posted fics either on this site or on other sites.

Two, in the upthread you'll see that Aquarius is in the middle of moving right now and this being her shift, she has fallen a little behind. She has promised to catch up on posting on Wednesday. And if any of you have experienced the trauma and discombobulation of a move, you'll know that it is quite remarkable that she has promised to do that for everyone here. When she does begin to post, I suggest thanking her for taking the time as she adjusts to her new living situation.
