The slice of pie has probably been talked to death. I just have not seen the discussions. I was wondering hat if any conclusions have been made about it. Hell, for all I know she is trying out personal choice: To eat the slice or not to eat it.

I don't know about any significance that piece of pie has but she definitely liked it and ate enough of it (many times over) to get a cavity from it.

Sorry, don't know the episode where Phlox told her she had a cavity.

You sure she got that cavity from eating Pecan Pie?

Can't remeber the episode where Phlox fixed her cavity either. Would be interested if the makeup people made the inside of her mouth Green, she does have Green blood so the inside of her mouth should be green along with her tounge.

yes, pretty sure. The cavity scene was played not long after Breaking the Ice. T'Pol told Phlox that her teeth were sealed 20 years ago so it was not possible for her to get a cavity. Phlox told it was definitely a cavity. The inference I got was she had become addicted to the pie which she did say in the Breaking the Ice episode that it was full of sugar.

Anyone know what episode that is? Interested now if the Cavity was caused by Pecan Pie or if T-Pol had been addicted to the Pie.

Still wondr if the inside of her mouth was green and her tongue. Would be an interestig project for the makeup team.

Double Post. Episode was Dear doctor. Phlox attributed her cavity to normal wear and tear not to Pecan Pie. T-Pol insisted her teeth had been sealed 23 years before. so, not Addicted to Pecan Pie.

Just because Phlox says it's normal wear and tear doesn't mean it is. He doesn't know about her secret pie habit.

I think she'd been eating pie, personally. Because otherwise, the scene is fairly pointless. As it is, it establishes that T'Pol is being influenced by Human practices even as she continues to diss them for being an immature race. In short, it pokes a little fun at T'Pol's blind spot and suggests that she might be at greater risk of being influenced by Human practices and perhaps even one Human in particular than she thinks she is.

Alelou, Phlox was a Doctor and maybe a Dentist too. He said he had a great number of degrees. Also that he had lived on Vulcan and had been involved in the Vulcan medial community. So he would know if the cavity was wear and tear or not. A cavity caused by Sugar would be different than one caused by wear and tear. Believe me, I have had both.
