Linda, I would like to take a stab at 1 and 2. Have somethings running through my mind. Ann asked me about something I mentioned to her in a PM which I would like to put in 2. 1 intrigres me as it can take a differnt track than what is apparent.

I'll take a go at the first one...but just to clarify in simpler terms...if it wasn't for Koss, they WOULD be married by now?? or if it wasn't for Koss, they wouldn't have realized their feelings for each other and gotten married??

This begs the question is it only one person per topic, or can multiple people write on the same topic?

Several people can write on the same topic. It would be great to see the different interpretations of the same theme.

And I did mean the Koss option to be that somehow if it were not for Koss, Trip and T'Pol would not have gotten married. I was thinking that he somehow would be the catalyst that brought them out of their avoiding each other - the angst that made Trip go to Columbia and all their avoidance behavior. It could be that Koss said he saw they really belonged together and told them so, or that Koss made a play to get her back even after he divorced her and that united them against him enough to get married, or that Koss got married to someone else and taunted T'Pol saying he found someone even better than her and since he dumped her she was not good enough to find another man. I'll bet you can come up with something even better! But, yeah, the idea was that Koss did something new that caused him to be the instigator that somehow finally caused Trip and T'Pol to tie the knot.

It is little over a month from Valentine's Day when the two winning stories are supposed to be posted. It would be helpful to know how many stories JT and I can expect so we set aside enough time to read them and decide on the winners. I hope people are having fun with this challenge!

I wish I had time to participate, but we had our first positive flu test at work today. The deluge is coming. :?

I wish I could participate, but I really need to focus on finishing the fics I already have in the hopper. Good muse vibes to those who will be playing, though!

It is beginning to look like this challenge is dead. Maybe the timing is bad or my lead lines are just not that interesting to writers. Is there anyone who is still working on it now? I am trying to decide what to do about it. :?

I really did like this challenge and the story lines you offered, Linda. Unfortunately, demands of RL and projects I am working on have prevented me to start with this challenge.

Okay, I am calling off this challenge. I have received no entries at all, despite prizes being offered. I guess this just wasn't a good time for this.

Sorry, boo. Flu season just doesn't work for me as a time for writing anything that takes longer than about 15 minutes to write. Maybe later?

Can we do one without a holliday? I don't celebrate any so I'm useless.
