I am trying to guess how this will all be resolved and see if ANY resolution will molify my ire with M and H. I won't list my speculations here, because I want to see if any of my guesses turn out right.

This IS a cool story. It is mostly not NC17, so people - please read it :poke: - you can skip over the smut if you don't like that. It seems a lot of people read the stories in the main section, but there are real treasures in the other sections too.

Aw, you guys are sweet. The wrote the story with the idea that it would be Enterprise if it were on HBO - so it's got swearing and violence and some tasteful smut - but also a story going on. And it was fun to write R/S smut and A/H smut as well - because that's kind of how HBO would do it. I know lots of people read it on ff.net - but I'm making corrections and improvements as I post it here.

I actually think most grown ups could probably handle it.

The MU story I'm doing is a totally other matter, though. That's definitely not going to be everyone's cup of tea.

Hey Honeybee, I will start reading "A Mirror Cracked" as soon as I finish reading "Family Secrets". (Hint, hint :tsktsk: )
I can't hold too many stories in temporary memory as it has about a 4K capacity which is about that of a hermit crab. :dunno:

So, I must have lied earlier. Linda said something about FS having 25 chapter - not true. There are 30 chapters and an epilogue.

And, in response to your most recent comment, Linda - Ston is just a pawn. Far too stupid to carry out any plan in earnest. Bala and her family just recognized how easy he would be to manipulate - something that T'Pol's father sadly did not see.

So, I posted Chapter 27 up - and I'll try and get 28 up today. I'm actually excited to see the readers here react to the story's wrap up!

Okay - all done.

One issue to address here: Bala and Ston.

They are bad guys. They do bad things. And they get away with it. Because Romulans do things like that.

But, Enme loses. And in losing he gets a new sister that he loves, a new way of life that he might like better than his old one and
SPOILER!!!:
he gets to marry the woman he has loved for many years.
. Spoilered for those who haven't read the last chapters.

Anyway - Bala and Ston have The Sword of Damocles hanging over them. And they will certainly show up in a sequel.

A sequel? Very cool! I was afraid you would stop using Enme. Now I will see more of him. 8)

I would like to see other people leaving comments for this story! It is very good with lots of interesting details. And it is about our favorite couple! If you don't like smut, well smut is not a huge part of the story. But for smut lovers, there is just enough to titulate! The development of the characters is compelling and the action is exciting and creative.

Oh you're so sweet, Linda. To be fair, many of the folks here commented when I posted it on ff.net - and there are few substantial changes between the versions (unlike A Mirror Cracked). But I do appreciate everyone liking the story - and finding the premise interesting.

I think I'll write the shortish prequel first - the one that explains why TnT have such an intimate familiarity with those Vulcan marriage laws - and then I'll have to write the adventures the crew has with their new "Vulcan" guests. Enme is definitely going totally "native" and embracing Terran culture.

So - the plot bunny arrived today. And I started on a Family Secrets prequel - the one where TnT get married on Vulcan. It's going to be short, sweet and is even going to be my July word prompt story.
