Those sneaky, sneaky Romulans! I like what you're doing with this story. There's plenty of action, but you're giving even more time to your characters. Eisler, Hayes and D'deridex are every bit as interesting as Hoshi and Archer; you're doing a great job bringing your original characters to life.

Well yes and no....I know of CIA members who are ex-seals/ Special Forces.

In cases like those it would be hard to say.

In any case this story just gets better and better!

You misunderstand the naming scheme. T'Pol's name is added because she is the official "discoverer" of said comet.

Ok If the Rommie ship is possin as the "Saratoga", then how are they pulling that off? Cause shouldnt the Saratoga, an all friendly ships have their warp cores online? (Since Id Imagine they all would need warp drive inorder to rid the system of the Rommie garbage tug once it was located.) Confused So How are these Rommies fakin the sensor sig of an active warp core, when their's is actualy offline? They runnin their Impulse drive on overload or somethin?

Who says their warp core is offline? That was T'Pol's theory, not a fact.

Saratoga is my 2nd all time fav ship name, after Enterprise ofcourse. Cool

Heh. And I scrapped the Enterprise, and have basically implied that something happened to the Saratoga too. Bet you're just loving this...

Not assumptions. Logical deductions based on my understanding of your twisted mind and the back story to date.

Twisted mind? Moi?

But that sort of example isn't really analogous 'cause they're exceptions. The example that I have in mind are the guys who are recruited into the CIA from college, not the ones who spend years in special forces first.

Once more unto the breach, dear friends, once more;
Or close the wall up with our English dead.
In peace there's nothing so becomes a man
As modest stillness and humility:
But when the blast of war blows in our ears,
Then imitate the action of the tiger;
Stiffen the sinews, summon up the blood,
Disguise fair nature with hard-favour'd rage;
Then lend the eye a terrible aspect;

Let pry through the portage of the head
Like the brass cannon; let the brow o'erwhelm it
As fearfully as doth a galled rock
O'erhang and jutty his confounded base,
Swill'd with the wild and wasteful ocean.
Now set the teeth and stretch the nostril wide,
Hold hard the breath and bend up every spirit
To his full height. On, on, you noblest English.
Whose blood is fet from fathers of war-proof!
Fathers that, like so many Alexanders,
Have in these parts from morn till even fought
And sheathed their swords for lack of argument:
Dishonour not your mothers; now attest
That those whom you call'd fathers did beget you.
Be copy now to men of grosser blood,
And teach them how to war. And you, good yeoman,
Whose limbs were made in England, show us here
The mettle of your pasture; let us swear
That you are worth your breeding; which I doubt not;
For there is none of you so mean and base,
That hath not noble lustre in your eyes.
I see you stand like greyhounds in the slips,
Straining upon the start. The game's afoot:
Follow your spirit, and upon this charge
Cry 'God for Harry, England, and Saint George!'

You had to quote from my all time favorite Shakespeare play, didn't ya?

Heh. Guess I shouldn't point out that I have Henry V bookmarked, huh?

Old men forget: yet all shall be forgot,
But he'll remember with advantages
What feats he did that day: then shall our names.
Familiar in his mouth as household words
Harry the king, Bedford and Exeter,
Warwick and Talbot, Salisbury and Gloucester,
Be in their flowing cups freshly remember'd.
This story shall the good man teach his son;
And Crispin Crispian shall ne'er go by,
From this day to the ending of the world,
But we in it shall be remember'd;
We few, we happy few, we band of brothers;
For he to-day that sheds his blood with me
Shall be my brother; be he ne'er so vile,
This day shall gentle his condition:
And gentlemen in England now a-bed
Shall think themselves accursed they were not here,
And hold their manhoods cheap whiles any speaks
That fought with us upon Saint Crispin's day.

Rescue, my Lord of Norfolk, rescue, rescue!
The king enacts more wonders than a man,
Daring an opposite to every danger:
His horse is slain, and all on foot he fights,
Seeking for Richmond in the throat of death.
Rescue, fair lord, or else the day is lost!

A horse! a horse! my kingdom for a horse!

Withdraw, my lord; I'll help you to a horse.

Slave, I have set my life upon a cast,
And I will stand the hazard of the die:
I think there be six Richmonds in the field;
Five have I slain to-day instead of him.
A horse! a horse! my kingdom for a horse!

(where's the cavalry? help!)

ETA: OOoooooo! I got a pip!

Yeah. He also played Gaius Julius Caesar on Rome. I really like the actor.

I'm with bnb. Going it alone seems rather dumb to me. "Hey, we just lost half the fleet at Acheron! Let's see how many more ships we can get destroyed!"
