They went WAY OUT OF THEIR WAY to NOT KILL OFF CT. In fact, they made NOT letting him be killed off an arguably really, really stupid decision on the main character's part. No wonder they said it was the perfect part for him. LOL.

So, is CT being typecast as a different sort of character now? Bleah.

I'm really quite puzzled how he's supposed to show up next week. And a little annoyed, because frankly I have no particular interest in ever seeing another episode of 24.

Can anyone explain what B&B meant about this being a perfect role for CT? Maybe they thought making Jack Bauer, who always does what's best to complete his mission, go against his nature and look incompetent would redeem them to fans of Trip and Enterprise. I should have known their judgment hadn't improved after seeing the role they gave John Billingsley '24'.

You kinda have to watch 24 from the very beginning for any of it to jive with you.

I was at soccer with the kids and forgot all about this. Hopefully it's on the DVR. My husband watched it last night and just remembered and called me at work to tell me the story. Another bad guy. *sigh* slovenly security guard, he says!

Sigh. I wish I could sell my first novel and they'd make a movie and cast him as the hero, because he'd be so good at it. And I wrote it long before I ever saw him.

Uniform or not any good role would be welcomed. Unfortunately good roles for good actors are hard to come by in this cheap, actorless environment where they stick a camera in front of anyone and call it reality TV and entertainment (I thought when A&E put on the parking cops it was bad, but now I see they're following around guys killing bugs) it's not going to happen. Somebody out there must be watching this crap because it just keeps spreading.

I finally got to watch this tonight--thank you, DVR!

Not quite sure what relevance Connor's character can have next week, but I'll watch just to see his hotness so 24 has guaranteed themselves one more in their audience one more time.

It isn't enough to keep me watching after Connor is gone, though. It looks like it's probably a pretty good show, but it's so hard to get into without knowing everything that went on before, so that sorta made it hard to care about what was happening in the scenes Connor wasn't in.

Perhaps I'm merely a victim of my one-track mind. Oh well, a person can only watch so much tv any way.

Looks like he's on 3 episodes. The only thing I can see is his life is in danger because he knows the identity of the guys who brought in the weapon and/or Bauer needs his help to catch them.

Hopefully he'll get more airtime and also get to redeem his character a bit.

That would be nice. Damn, now I'm going to have to keep watching. But he wasn't in the previews for this week that I can recall -- anyone else notice him?

He wasn't in the previews that I saw. I thought maybe there had been a mistake on the second week, but this is a second source for the same info.

I know a lot of people don't like the show and I admit it takes some getting used to but I like it if for no other reason than they treat like grownups and show us a world (we may not like it) that is a creation for TV and not always realistic, but deals with real life issues that we should be made to look at and make our minds up about. Unfortunately, the previous administration's handling of these issues made them front page news.

When "Carl" was running off I said to my husband "He'll be back to help Jack or Tony at some point." Then at the end of the episode I said "guess not." I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

I am a HUGE 24 fan - favorite show on TV for the past 5 years. Connor Trineer being on it just makes it all the better! I have to say, I think I like him as a blonde better.

OK, I just watched the episode for free on hulu. I think he was great! It was the perfect role for him in that he got to use his full range of adorable facial expressions, lol . . . I like his dark hair. And it was kind of an exciting firefight and getaway for Jack Bauer. When Jack Bauer was stealing the truck and I was thinking. Wow, with Connor in this role . . . but then no . . . it'd be cool to see Connor leap onto the top of a moving truck and drag the guy out of the seat . . . but it's not Trip. I miss Trip.

There's an interview with him from the Las Vegas 08 convention on YouTube. He talks about this movie we're all waiting for (which he DID shoot in Bulgaria) as due to come out in December -- meanwhile I checked and it appears to still be trapped in post-production to this day. He somewhat disparagingly said, "It's one of those movie of the weeks for the SciFi Channel." I'm wondering if we'll ever see it, and if we do see it, if we'll profoundly wish we hadn't...
