Re: "Guess Who" Drabble Challenge

In only a few words you've shown them happily bickering with each other and captured both personalities perfectly. I daren't say who I think they are though, because my attempts to write a drabble of my own have all been dismal failures.

Re: Spam Threads

I've been clicking the little red question mark in the bottom right hand corner to report them, and I assume that gets the attention of our friendly mods somehow.

Re: "Guess Who" Drabble Challenge

Well done WarpGirl, the sense of awe was nicely portrayed. I think "cleaning up their messes" may be a treble-entendre, and actually I can't recall ever seeing ones of those before. So, two thumbs up. Or should that be three thumbs up?

Re: "Guess Who" Drabble Challenge

Creepy, yes. But the TnT closeness that he so disapproved of was nice to see. It amazes me how you folks manage to pack so much into just a hundred words.

Re: "Guess Who" Drabble Challenge

He was running, he was running, he was smelling, he was smelling. Floor hard and cold. Feet were here, feet were here. He would run and smell and smell and smell and run and run and run until he found someone who had cookies in their pocket. People legs went by and stopped and turned and he didn’t ...

Re: "Guess Who" Drabble Challenge

It's Archer??? :vulcan: :D Actually I had Reed in mind. But my silly little reply hardly qualifies as a challenge entry, I was just amused by the thought that you might not notice until the last line, that it was a drabble about writing a drabble. Little things please little minds, so they say. :lo...

Re: "Guess Who" Drabble Challenge

Okay...here's our first drabble challenge. Write one from the POV of an Enterprise character, major or minor. Don't mention the name of the character but provide enough clues to allow the reader to guess who it is. Extra credit if they guess which episode it relates to. The person who guesses corre...

Re: New Fanfic Up: 2011 Edition!

That is clever. But have I just disappointed everyone who thought they were about to get a new story? Oh dear, and I've just done it again, haven't I? Sorry everyone!

Eh? What's this about email notifications? Is this how you lot all seem to find new stories so much quicker than me?

Re: Status and Support

I'd have thought a notebook would be battery powered, which in effect gives you your own portable UPS and protects against brown-outs. But it can still be hit by spikes on the mains, and maybe that's what happened here. In that case all I can offer is my sympathy and encouragement as you trudge thro...

Re: Status and Support

Sorry to hear that your PC may have trashed some precious trek fiction. I've lost documents myself in the past and I know how much harder it is to write them the second time - and how depressing it is to do. Since you're formatting and reinstalling and such I see you're computer literate so have pro...

Re: My Jolene 2011 calendar

I know it's 'old news', but I've seen that avatar of T'Pol in a pixie cap over the past weeks or so and I just wanted to say that every time I see it, it makes me grin. Great picture!
