Re: Misc Trek stuff
I have no idea what's going on there, but it's great to see our old favorites sending themselves up. I was keeping a keen eye out for Joleen, but alas she was nowhere to be seen.

Re: Braga Discusses The Original Idea Behind 'Enterprise'
Yes, it would be interesting to know which actor actually played that part. Although I suppose they might have gone for a stand-in for Scott even if the character was supposed to be Archer. ETA: According to memory alpha, it wasn't Scott. EATA: And memory alpha also says Rick Berman has stated in in...

It's hard to imagine finding somebody who is a 'better fit for the site' as you put it, because you've been the heart and soul of the site for as long as I've been here. I hope your personal reasons will involve lots of gratifying and rewarding story writing in whatever genre has taken your interest...

May I ask where you found that, Asso? I haven't seen Marchale posting here in far too long.

In my case, the reason I don't remember it is just that I'm an uncultured yob.

Re: New Fanfic Up 2013
That feels a bit reminiscent of one of the episodes from that other series with Jeri Ryan in it, but it's much more interesting in this context and IMO this a much more compelling plot. I really like the writing style - there's a sense of immense but unstated danger that could strike at any moment. ...

Re: Defiance
I'm still pretty fuzzy on what the hell happened in that one. What's the problem? A damaged alien ship that was going to crash into the planet sent some nannites to Earth to kill an alien, reanimate the dead body and use it to send some commands up to the ship telling it not to crash into the town....

Re: Defiance
I'm enjoying it too, although here in the UK we're probably not in sync with the episodes you're watching. The writers seem to be desperate to surprise the viewers, with the backstories getting more complex every week. I haven't decided whether that's a good thing. The sexy young alien girl seems to...
