Re: The Male Brain

Like this is a secret? Wait til you get into research on female body builders... then things get more than a bit dicey. Hormones don't make up the sum total of what we are. It's nature and nurture in combination. To say that testosterone drives all behaviors is doing men a disservice. It's just not ...

Re: "All the Pretty Little Ponies"

Just a note to clarify the Pretty Ponies timeline.

Elizabeth, Paxton's experiment, is still in Trip's future in the earlier series. Resurrection is now at Season 4, episode 3. Paxton is another year down that timeline. Hence the confusion. She hasn't yet been born for the earlier Trip and T'Pol.

Re: VOTE FOR CONNOR!!

As far as voting or not voting... Maybe some folks want to keep Connor to themselves. It's not due to any lack on his part, I'm sure. Frankly it's us that lack the imagination. Hollywood is a fickle place and the American public does what Hollywood dictates. Why would you need walls if you already h...

Re: VOTE FOR CONNOR!!

Pegmumm, Why not proud of collecting comics? Why? Because it's unseemly for a 56 year old woman to admit that she collected comic books. By the way, I collect old science fiction as well. I've read thousands of novels. I have over 3000 paperbacks of varying ages and 10 years (From the 70's) of fant...

Re: VOTE FOR CONNOR!!

Too late, already voted. Age is irrelevant as far as Captain America goes. There is no age range for Superheroes. I used to collect Comic books. Hey I am not proud of what I did... sigh. Anything we can do to get Conner's name in front of the public is good for his career. There is no such thing as ...

Re: "All the Pretty Little Ponies"

Lets see if I can figure this out. Okay.. spoiler alert... Let's see...in Ponies... AU Trip is the same Trip as in my Resurrection series except for the screwup in security that allowed Paxton to acquire the DNA to create Elizabeth. Trip had 2 possible Elizabeths, a fetus stored in cryo created ...

My toes aren't done at the moment, but I've got Russian Navy on my fingers. Dark blood red here when I am not working. I love making men drool. However... It doesn't pay to work on a psych unit with hypersexual males (and a few females) chasing you down the hallways. Had to go back to being Miss Pl...

Re: Randomness

I wish I didn't have to know statistics for psychology. I wonder if there is any chance my brain can handle math better now than it did 20 years ago. It's only for a couple of quarters. Been there myself. You need to know the absolute crap they base psych studies on before you get into the f...

Re: At 36 years of age into the mosh pit...

Yeah, Nickelback's "How you remind me" is also a recent discovery for me. In fact I used it in one of my stories... the lyrics fit so well for the scene after Harbinger... when the bond drives them back together after she denies him acknowledgment of their relationship. Sigh... The song al...

Re: New member

Would a NORMAL person choose to go into a profession in which one's day consists of a seemingly neverending series of encounters with cranky sick people interspersed with mountains of paperwork? I don't think so. ;-) Hey I resemble that remark... Let's just say life is never boring. especially when...
