Re: T'Mir!
evcake, I think that picture is Aadarshinah as a child. Honeybee, I could so see that. Her face just oozes elegant artist. Aquarius, I have to agree with Honeybee, that does look like a young Lorian! For my T'Mir, I see her like a chameleon. Around her close family and the humans that know, she rela...

T'Mir!
So I found the perfect visual representation of T'Mir (The Understanding). Just lighten her hair and T'Mir's eyes are blue. Here I think she looks like T'Pol: http://www.imdb.com/media/rm2847639552/nm3437020 & here I think she looks like Trip: http://www.imdb.com/media/rm2780530688/nm3437020 I'm...

Re: Calling All Cooks
This recipe is very rich!!! Never realized how much butter and cream went into it until I made it. This was in the most legible form of the recipe I've found: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20060803184637AAY98r5 What I changed: - chicken was from a previously baked whole bird cooked in ...

Re: Randomness
I have 3 cats and none of them like each other. When we first brought our second cat home as a kitten, she terrorized our 3-legged cat. She wanted to play and her elder wanted none of it. When no longer a kitten we kept her nails short, she got into a fight with her elder and learn her lesson for a ...

Re: The Happy News thread
Wow, have to learn to pace myself. If not for WG's post I would have had posted back to back.
Just learned how to make the Le Madeleine-like Chicken Friand. So exciting, so sinful, so gooooood!
Edit: Added "like" because it seemed as though I acquired their recipe or something

Re: The Happy News thread
So life has been kicking me in the butt and I've been feeling a little down in the dumps. But just found some linguistic puzzles that lifted my spirits! My family has started comparing it to crack because I'm so addicted but it brightens my day. Unfortunately, I've already raced through the first si...

Re: I finally did it :) Battlestar Galactica tattoo
It's from the matching set of tattoos worn by the most awesome (& most broken) character of the show, Starbuck, and her Cylon (shh... no one knows) husband, Anders. When they are in each other's arms, they form a kind of winged circle. http://kateesackhoff.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2010/0...

Re: I finally did it :) Battlestar Galactica tattoo
I compare it to childbirth. Before you have the excitement and anticipation, during you think you are going to die, and after you understand that the pain was a worthy sacrifice for something so beautiful. After a long time you remember that it was EXTREMELY painful but the details get a little fuzzy.

Re: The Whine thread.
I know the NorthEast has been getting a lot of rain, have you been specifically? If so, a fix could be as easy as a raised bed next year or a drainage hole to dry out the soil faster. I go hunting for squashbugs every other evening with homemade insecticidal soap and have seen a noticeable differenc...

Okay, so I quickly followed the link. But a few seconds in, the buffer paused the video and where it stopped CT looked like he was giving the come hither stare. It was an awesome 3 second fantasy.
