There was a novel--hardcover--in the 80s or 90s, by Peter David, I think--which supposed that Trellaine (who EntAllat referenced) is actually an adolescent Q. I'm pretty sure I still have it somewhere...might be worth a re-read, now that I think about it.

I think that the job in and of itself makes it hard for him to be Relationship Guy. I certainly don't see him having this huge string of one-night stands...but maybe an occasional one-night "meaningful relationship" with someone he really, really liked. Kind of the way Hoshi did in the sam...

I guess "slutty" is in the eye of the beholder. He seemed to actually like her. I don't think it would've been wrong, and if it wasn't happening all the time I don't think it would make him promiscuous. It's gotta be lonely when it's just you and your dog.
