How about a vampire rabbit?
It's flavored with passionfruit
an appropriate ingredient, don't you think?

Best solution yet, Evcake! Lagramorphus Bloodsuckus.
Working on a major fan fic project. Two-thirds done. Hope to put it up in the not TOO distant future.

Re: Pictures of pets
Well yes. I continue to write. And on Fanfiction.Net, for those who want, it is possible to cast a glance at my latest efforts. We arrived to
The Ears of the Elves, chapter Forty-four
And here is the beginning of the whole story.
But, I must say, you could also find something else on Fanfiction.net written by me. If you want.

They make traps now for you wusses that don't want to see the dead mouse. They're more expensive than a regular mouse trap, but they spare the faint of heart from seeing dead rodents.

Re: Pictures of pets
Consider that if you see one mouse, there may be many more on the way... Sometimes those sticky traps work and can save you from the rotting mouse in the wall syndrome.
Can you put the rabbit in a safe place and borrow a friend's cat? Cats really are excellent mice-catchers. Snake-catchers too, we've found. You'd need one mellow enough to come in and get the job done without freaking out about the new environs, though.

OMG, ANOTHER new chapter! NORTH STAR Chapter 28

Re: Pictures of pets
We had three cats and a dog and a rat in the basement and they all got along very well.
Useless f*ing cats and dog.
Here's one I took of our black cat Mwnci yesterday. I love his shiny, black lip.

CX, I don't mind seeing a dead mouse. I do mind seeing a mortally wounded one that I have to finish off.
A borrowed cat sounds great.

Here's Tincho
He's my sisters' kitteh. They kinda adopted him and he sleeps in my sister's bed and she took him to the vet and all. But my mother doesn't know that... he's supposed to be a neighborhood cat he's not even supposed to go inside the house (< gah I almost capitalized the word "house"!! I'm a lost cause ). My mother frowns when he's just in their yard. She hates pets but at least my sisters take care of him. Wouldn't want the poor little baby staying outside in the rain and maybe snow

Re: Pictures of pets
Ashley, on her towel under the Christmas tree. (We had a tree skirt, but there was an unfortunate encounter wherein I learned that felt tree skirts can't be vacuumed.) She loved Christmas trees with lights on.
Unfortunately, we had to let my beloved Ashley go. It really was time because we didn't want her suffering, so we took her in this morning. She went very quickly and peacefully, being petted and told how much she was loved.
I came home from my aunt's house across the street one evening in October '94, and my parents told me to look under a chair. At first I thought there was a stuffed squirrel under the chair. Then it moved. That's how we started out, Ashley and I. I'm an only child and she was so many things to me. Not many cats probably got Valentines, but she did for the first couple years. She sat on posters I was making for schoolwork; senior year in high school I opened at McDonald's on weekends and when I got home we would take a nap together; she always loved Christmas trees and nestling in on rolls of wrapping paper.
I adored her, and the house seems really empty now. But, she's not in pain now. And I am convinced that pets go to Heaven - after all, there are lions and lambs lying down together, so it stands to reason there are cats and dogs too!

Re: Pictures of pets
I'm so sorry to hear about Ashley, JadziaKathryn. She was a beautiful kitty and it's obvious you loved her very much. I lost my Coco a year ago December, so I understand. Please feel free to PM me if you want to talk.
